can I get good exp ? (1000 min per character)

I am playing FF9, (again). and have got the Ship the "Blue Narciss" for the first time after turning Regent Cid into a frog, and garnet losing her voice.

my currently levels are
Zidane – 34
Garnet – 26
Vivi – 26
Quina – 21
Steiner – 25
Eiko – 25
Aramant – 27
Freya – 18

What I would like to know, is where can I get good exp (1000 min per character).

I am currently on the little island to the south of the western continent.

Also, where is a good place to buy the best weapons available at this point? I know Zidane has a new weapon that can me synthed, but I do not have the required lesser weapons.

I was thinking of getting the lowest leveled char to 32.. which zidane in the 40s?

Go eat the dragon zombie on Iifa Tree to learn Level 5 Death. Then use the ladder at Gizamaluke Grotto to access an area where there are Grand Dragons. Kill them instantly by using Lv5 Death with Quina.

I usually abuse the Grand Dragons for EXP. So, take the advice, and start serving Grand Dragons on the your menu.

Well before I fought Ultima Weapon I got several characters to level 100 (along with some Guardian Forces) in that area.

Dude, go to Oeilvert, go inside, equip ‘Jelly’ ability to your party, and run around until you come across an enemy called ‘Epitah’.

Steal from it, and it will use a move called ‘Mirror’ which produces a duplicate of any of your characters, whether in or out of the current party.

IF, however, the duplicate is in your party, that party member will get instantly KO’ed. Nothing you can do about it.

Don’t bother reviving the KO’ed party member, as they will just get KO’ed again and again and again etc.

Kill the duplicate, then do a weak attack on the Epitah and it will produce another duplicate. It is always the same duplicate as the first one.

Kill that duplicate, and repeat again until you have killed 3 duplicates. After 3, the Epitah will run out of duplicates and resort to non-stop ‘Petrify’ spells, which will do absolutely nothing as long as everyone has ‘Jelly’ equipped.

Revive the fallen character, heal as needed, and when you’re ready, simply use a ‘Soft’ on the Epitah and it will die.

Shazzam! With all 4 party members conscious, they will each recieve approximately 7400 EXP, or 11700 if they have the ‘Level Up’ ability equipped. As well as around 6000 Gil, 9900 if Quina has ‘Millionaire’ equipped.

I went from level 30 to level 55 in about 2 hours!

Oeilvert is unaccessible after you visit Terra, so do all necessary levelling BEFORE Terra!

i kill grand dragons straight away when i reach gizamalukes grotto
u learn limit glove off of axebeaks outside lindblum
put quina to one hp and use limit glove twice
and hope for survival
it works it really does

Martin’s strategy is useful early in the game, but is also difficult.

Using my Oeilvert + Epitaph strategy is a lot more useful later on in the game, however when you reach Disk 4 its a lot easier to just train in Memoria.
