Cait Sith’s Limit Break

It’s been a long time since I last played the game, and I have recently made it to the snow fields, using Cloud, Red XIII and Cait Sith. At the moment, Cait’s slots deals out a fair amount of damage, but it does increase as Cait levels up, right? Because it would really suck if he continued to deal out only 800-1200 in damage.

Cait Sith has limit breaks? I thought he/she was one of those characters you should never use.

Why settle for a boring Cloud-Tifa-Barret team for the 100th time? I’ve had this game for ten years, so what’s the point in using the same old team every time?

Also, none of you answered my question.

Cait Sith’s attacks will increase as his stats increase; however, from what I’ve heard his Dice attack does more damage than the slots anyway. And there’s always that risk of instant death; it happened to me once, right as I was about to save.

But yes, it’ll get better.

I like the idea of using a different party setup too, as I’ve always stuck to the usual Cloud/Tifa/Barrett that works so well, with Red occasionally getting a look in. I’m restarting soon and haven’t played for some time, so I have this decision to make again.

How are you finding that party setup Zulu – is it working well? I think I’ve used Cait before, but not for very long.

Dazman76, the party is working just fine. I find it a little more exciting to use different characters, and character you might never have used before, so I say go for it. The last time I used Cloud/Yuffie and Vincent, and that was pretty fun, too.

So Cait Sith can use Limit Breaks and hes a good character to use if you level him up properly. So the best people to use in a party with Cait would probably be someone that can DEFINETELY attack every round? Because Cait has limits that dont always work huh?

EDIT: and his/her attack is relative each time he/she increases in stats? cool. LETS TRY IT!

Dice > Slots most of the time. Some of the slot abilities are pretty good, but you do run the risk of auto-death. :<

But slots can be fun…it can kill all of you…but it can also kill all of your enemies too 🙂
