Attempting to recruit Larbeight…

Hi guys, I’m trying to recruit Larbeight for my Blitzball team. He has one game left on the Kilika Beasts and I’ve scouted him several times and then saved. After one game, the Beasts always re-sign him. I really want him so I can get closer to achieving my dreamteam, and my best guess that he keeps getting re-assigned is because there are no good shooters left to recruit. Should I get rid of Wakka first?

Nobody will recruit Wakka anyway, he can only play for the Aurochs.

Did you know that instead of playing a full game, you can just start an exhibition against the beasts and forfeit it, saving you a good 15-20 minutes? They’ll drop him eventually. If you have any reserve forwards, drop those though.

Really? I didn’t know that.

I got him, It seems that they will drop the player about 80% of the time if you scout them before their last game, but if you play them, 0%.
I’m now playing exhibitions against the Beasts and Glories to get Vuroja and Ropp and then they play each other in the next season game, so then my dreamteam will be complete.
