I might have to buy a DS for this remake. I hate hand helds but I might break down for this
I might import this game from America. I’ll probably not want to wait another 2 months to get it.
im buying it and a DS.
I tried looking it up in google, and it kept giving my computer stupid walkthroughs… So I just decided to ask, lol. : ) Google sucks on my computer.
oh I gotcha, lol. I usually just check IGN, they seem to be pretty accurate usually.
gamefaqs for me.
search>game>data = finished!
i wonder if the voice acting is gonna suck?
what kind of voices will they have?

I think it really depends on what I’m looking up as to what website I go to.
I know. If they have crappy voice acting, I’ll freak, and they better have amazing voices too. I like the way some of the characters look, so that’s a plus. I heard that they tried to make the character’s look like the original concept art. : )
You might just suck at using Google. =/
lol I thought about that, but whenever I’m anywhere else on google, I find what I want right away. I honestly think it’s my computer…. Stupid computer and dial-up connection.
So you have to see exactly what you’re typing in the search bar and make sure it’s the most effective one.
IOW, typing in "FFIV" will obviously yield a bunch of Final Fantasy IV related items. Typing in "Final Fantasy IV DS remake" with the quotations will probably yield better results.
I have no idea why I typed this…
"FFIV"
"FFIV remake"
"FFIV Nintendo DS"
"FFIV" + "nintendo ds" + "release date"
My computer is lame most of the time. Sometimes it works, but with most websites it sucks…. The quotes help somewhat, but I find the + or AND to be a more effective search method when using a search engine.
EDIT: omg I found a miracle search engine. It’s a meta-search engine, so it pulls information from normal search engines to get its results, but the amazing part is: it actually works on my computer. http://www.cactisearch.com/
It’s a miracle worker.
Release date info within the first paragraph.
I’ll just stick with CactiSearch. I’m going to find out who’s doing the voices (if they are doing voices…)
Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis(Usa port, not sure if it’s cancelled, delayed, or moved to DS/PSP)
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core(came out recently in Usa)
Final Fantasy Agito XIII
Kingdom Hearts: Coded
The 3rd Birthday(3rd Parasite Eve game)
This guy could be directing four projects right now and up until a few months ago five projects at once possibly! π

The official website is amazing! One of the very best Square Enix website’s they’ve ever made! Just look at all those Yoshitako Amano pictures! I want the game! Final Fantasy IV was earth-shattering when it came out in Usa in 1991, but rpg’s weren’t as popular back then. It was the first or second rpg for Snes in Usa I think. If you like it, try Final Fantasy V.
Jun 22 was the US release…
Can’t wait for it to reach Australian shores.
After some research I discovered that it has been scheduled for release in the U.S on July 22.
To Freakyloser: X is the third best Final Fantasy I’ve played so far, but in my opinion VIII was better, also Dirge of Cerberus is pretty good.
I just finished Dirge of Cereberus. It was pretty good. I don’t really know. Depending on my mood, VIII or X is either my favorite. Currently it’s X. I also enjoy IX and VI.
I am currently at the last dungeon of FFIV, but am training. I want to be in my 80’s/90’s before I go against the last boss.

You obviously didn’t look very far. In fact, it was answered on the first page, first response. Seriously, read the first page next time.
Freakyloser, training up is good, I was level 99 on all my characters when I finished X, it was a walk in the park. Almost all Final Fantasy players think that the main boss will be super brutal, and other then in VIII I haven’t had any trouble. Their heavily over rated, always.
As for whats better I’d have to say VIII, mainly because the characters are the second best out of the series, I just could’t get into playing as Tidus, not when Yuna and Auron our in my party.
Sorry for the long post.
You rule! I think we are the only two guys here who like Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus! I want to beat the extra missions this year sometime. π
Oh, I level up so I don’t spend forever struggling at the ending. And, you don’t have levels in X, so how were you at lvl 99? VIII’s final boss was pathetic. As a matter of fact, most of the final bosses are somewhat pathetic, but I suppose that’s me because I spend forever leveling up. I only had problem with XII’s final boss. Stupid Vayne. Immunity to both magic and physical attack for about five minutes is what got me. = /

Well, I don’t typically play shooter games, but I had fun with it. I’m currently working on getting all of the stupid Omega and G Reports, and I’ve beaten most of the extra missions, I think….
I gave up on XII, I didn’t like any of the characters you played as, and other then Larsa, Vayne and Reks, there’s nobody I liked in the least, Balthier was just ridiculous.
My research is sloppy, I’ll put more time into it from now on.
