I bought this a few years ago because I figured it might have a version without lyrics (not that I don’t love it with lyrics anyway) but it turned out to be a false hope. My friend claims to have heard a version without lyrics on some Chicago techno station but I haven’t found any proof of it existing.

i had the full album of this with songs made for each mortal kombat 1 character but gave it to a friend who was a bigger fan. the group was called the immortals if i recall.

One presumes it may have been a promotional release. I ripped directly from my own retail disc, which had only five tracks.

At the time demonoid.com was up, someone uploaded that cd single rip with 8 tracks.
The 3 new tracks uploaded were:
1) Encounter The Ultimate (Mk Annihilation Ost Mix)
2) Mortal Kombat Annihilation (Annihilation Kombat Mix)
3) Mortal Kombat Annihilation (Original Annihilation Mix)

But looking the first track, we can recognize that is the same track that comes from the MK Annihilation Soundtrack of 1997 with the name "Theme From Mortal Kombat (Encounter The Ultimate)". Since the CD-Single was released on 1994 and it representes only the first movie ost, we can deduct those 3 tracks where added only like extra on that torrent; this is the final proof that no CD-Single with 8 tracks wasn’t in existence.
Honestly I don’t know where the others two tracks come from. They are from the second movie but are different mix and this is the final mistery I have to solve… (maybe from a promo vynil/cd?)

Anybody still has this album? Id need the 12" version of the themesong… Could anyone help me? Thx! 🙂
