Recently my Ipod syncing is vary, and I mean vary slow. its like a cupple of seconds or even minunts for a song to sync to my ipod. Also it randomly skips song or even refuse to play the song at all! And when I have music on my Ipod it will say no artists, when I clearly have artists! And one weird bug or glitch I found was when I was lesining to a(Song)Guerrilla Radio-(Artist)Rage Against The Machine, at one point of the song it will just play some new weird music and then continue with the song. Now it does this at the same file. Now on the computer it does not do that. It just plays the song fine. Do you think Ipods could get viruses. I tried everything to fix this problem ,restoring my ipod ,wipe it out clean, even re installing itunes, but still nothing works. Did a full sweep of viruses & Spywere with Norton, it only showed a tracing cookie, which is normal. (I Think). This is just really frustrating. So lets recap.
-REALLY Slow syncing.
-Ipod Does not detect artists.
-Skiping in songs.
-plays a new song within the same file.
I have the 1.1.2 Fimwire,on a Ipod classic. Also im rinning on VISTA Home Premium.

Maybe you need to update the firmware.
