Check out the two websites on the game. On the main website you can listen to music from the game! A lot of it is remixed Final Fantasy songs from the past, it’s great! Last spring Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales came out for the DS and it also was pretty good.
If I had a Wii I’d check out this game, it seems great! Who’s buying this game? 🙂
Music seems decent enough evoking those memorable battle themes from past FFs. The Wikipedia link says Kumi Tanioka did like only two new tracks so I’m wondering if the rest are simply rearranged classics. If anything, I’ll probably pass on the game, but pick up the ost.
From Wikipedia:
Some of the more difficult game elements were removed so that it would appeal to "small children and female" players.
Harhar.
Are they trying to say females are too stupid to play difficult games? Going so far as to compare them to small children?
edit: I thought I saw the WFC logo somewhere on the webbie; I wonder what sort of WiFi shenanigans will be happening?
Chocobo Tales was alright, but it was basically all minigames, some of which grew tired really fast. Most were OK, though.
Rocket Slime was one of the better games made for the DS, and contrary to Noskillbassist’s comment, it wasn’t too boring in my opinion.
Or me, for that matter. 😛
hahahaha, yes you are right.
That was a good one
it does equal bad, what the fuck is Zack and Wiki?
Only if you’re a wanker with a maturity complex.
what the fuck is Zack and Wiki?
It has an 87% on gamerankings.com.
Thats a bold statement there young man. We all like Final Fantasy, but sometimes it is too cutesy. So no, no one is a wanker except the guy pointing out the people with a "maturity complex."
Now, now. No need for that sort of talk. I didn’t directly call you a wanker, but I suppose if the shoe fits…
Locke, stop being a cunt…
You’re not the first person to tell him that.
rocket slime was one of, if not the, best game(s) on the ds
I guess I don’t get it. =/
You’re not the first person to tell him that.
I wasn’t being a cunt, I was pointing out that its ridicoulous to sum up everyone as a wanker that thinks the game looks too cutesy. There are some people that look at a game like that and wont touch it at all because its slightly cute, there are people like me that will at least try the game, and if its too kiddy, I’ll probably ditch it. Those people that wont touch at all, yes, they probably have a problem with life, or they just act "dark" all the time to impress friends and they wont play it, if anything, they are the wankers. Case closed.
Reading comprehension FTW, Locke. I didn’t call you a wanker (but if the shoe fits…), and I haven’t yet called you a cunt.

Yet you’ve already said "it does look to (sic) cutesy" and "it ("cutesy") does equal bad." Hypocrite much?
Case cl-*interrupted by loud fart*
edit:
I did see the WFC logo. The "information" link at the bottom takes you to a screen with the ESRB rating, release date, and all that miscellaneous info. The WFC logo’s on the bottom right. Is there any info anywhere about possible WFC features?

I was partially agreeing with a previous, I also said in that same post, I am considering buying it. Lets not make a big deal out of nothing sir.
It’s rather old fact sheet information posted on some different sites, Gamespot.com for one. There’s also an enlightening review of the gameplay on Gamespot, the entirety of which can be read here (http://www.gamespot.com/wii/rpg/chocobosdungeon/news.html?sid=6192232&om_act=convert&om_clk=newlyadded&tag=newlyadded;title;1).
oho!
No shit, Sherlock. Oho!

Cool, thankies! 😀
I can’t think straight, too excited for Final Fantasy XIII right now, it’s going to destroy everything when it comes out. Metal Gear Solid 4 sold 500k copies it’s first week in Usa for PS 3 last week. By the time Final Fantasy XIII comes out in Usa, more people will own a PS 3, but rpg genre may not be as popular as MGS 4 genre(stealth action/adventure?).
What does everybody think Final Fantasy XIII’s first week Usa sales will be like, I’m thinking 400k-550k. 🙂
