FFVII on PSP

I play FFVII on PSP and I’m having this problem.

It seems whenever I use the ultimate weapons of characters besides cloud’s, the limit break meter determines the power of the attack.

Like if Tifa’s limit meter is empty, her physical attack using Premium Heart is 100~200

If the limit meter is near full, the attack is 6000~9999. This is the same for the other characters as well.

Is this supposed to happen? Or is this a bug of some sort in my version of FFVII that I play on PSP?

Could it be a glitch? Is it because I got Tifa’s level 3 limit breaks before getting her 2nd level 2 limit break?

It’s only supposed to determine the attack for Tifa’s

Cid’s is based off of remaining MP

Barret’s is based on total AP of materia in his weapon

Cait Sith’s is based off of HP

Vincent’s is based off of how many enemies killed by him

I forget what Yuffie and Red XIII’s are based off of. I think theirs are just powerful weapons?

So, it’s supposed to be like that?

Wow. O_O

How come it doesn’t say that in the official Brady Games strategy guide or anything?

Because the Brady Games strategy guide sucks.

There was a strat guide I had called "The Unofficial Ultimate FFVII Guide."

It was so awesome. No spoilers, yet everything you wanted to know and more. It even had a section for "Crazy Materia Combos"

Had to be better than the official guide. There was actually a mistake in one of the Temple Of The Ancients maps. Not to mention the spelling errors.

I think Yuffie’s was based off of the difference in level between her and the enemy, but I’m not sure in what way. Red XIII? I think his may have been MP too, like Cid’s.

you can play psone games on them yes, either from downloading from the ps3 network or by getting a custom firmware.

You can’t download Final fantasy 7 from the PSN yet as far as i know.
