FF IV(DS) first trailer – One of the greatest trailers in history?!

I love the very first Japanese trailer for the Nintendo DS remake of Final Fantasy IV. I want to share it with you and listen to everybody’s thoughts on it.

Please go to the official Japanese website for the DS remake of Final Fantasy IV. Then click on Movie. Then on the top left under "Promotion Movie" click on "Large Size". That’s the first trailer for Final Fantasy IV(DS), please watch it! You may have to press play, pause it to buffer the video, then press play again, in order to play the video more smoothly. What I think of that trailer?

It is quite old.

But it’s good. As for calling it the "OMG BEST THING EVER BBQ BATMAN!!!, seriously, it will be that for what? 3 weeks? Until you find out some new infos about FF XIII or something.

Greatest trailer in history? Srsly. I mean, srsly.

Hehe, it’s one of my favorites, I really like the new song they put there. I think another great trailer is the Dengeki one for Final Fantasy XIII. 🙂

This was the game that got me into Final Fantasy. Without hesitation I’m gonna buy the remake.

This is it’s third one, which can possible make it the most re-made one.

Then again, I think FFT was remade a lot too

Even since Square Enix moved away from the whole "Let’s just show FMVs to dupe people into thinking that’s how the whole game is going to look" marketing campaigns of the PSX era, their trailers have been relatively well constructed. The Final Fantasy XII (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_r0L6gkb1u0) trailer was pretty decent as well.

Yea I’m pretty excited! 🙂
…I’ll have to delay FF IV(DS) till December, since I want to beat the new versions of FF I, FF II, and FF III before FF IV. Going for a 100% completion rate on these games, the main numbered Final Fantasy titles! 🙂

chik in the fmv is hot…but when i see the rendered kiddie sprite i have conflicted feelings

I’m so damn ready for that game. I keep counting down the days til its released. Its gonna be grand that’s all I can say. Man, I already know I’m gonna give it a 10 in every category.

I thought it was too revealing of the game’s plot…but then again people who had never played it wouldn’t know what’s going on anyway
