download program

hello guys,

i have written a little tool to download whole OSTs from bluelaguna.net, but i don’t know whether i am allowed to post it here.

i am not often in this forum so i couldn’t find the mods to ask.

Hm, well, I’m no mod, but I can offer my opinion, for what it’s worth.
1)I’d say it’s not really a popular idea to post someone else’s music domain here when this is the home of Galbadia Hotel already. Mind you, that place does seem to house only RPG soundtracks it seems, so maybe since it’s specific it’s more acceptable.
2)This would have been better just posted in the standard Anime & Video Game Music thread instead of the Downloads specific thread. Funny, as it’s usually the opposite problem at times.
3)Well, your program doesn’t affect Galbadia, but seeing as your program affects Blue Laguna, you ought to ask the mods and/or owner over there rather than over here.
4)Kudos to writing a program! You’re far more intelligent than I am 😛
5)Don’t worry about your english. You’re not alone. (I tend to worry more about my french at times).

to 1) i hope they can accept it. i downloaded here some soundtracks with megaupload. and it was so lame. so i would like to show my appreciation to this great forum by posting this tool 🙂

to 3) can you tell me who the mods are? i’m searching and searching… i can’t really find them. o.O or can you give their e-m@iladresses? (i ask them whether i am allowed to post)

to 4) thx ^^ but i haven’t program anything since 2 years and now i have began to write some little tools like this since a month. i could write a download tool for galbadia hotel, but i think that is lesser allowed :-\

The only mod that stands out here (and I really know of) is Sarah, but she hasn’t been very active lately (quite a while actually).

Believe it or not, I’m english, and my worst subject was always english. I was better at french though (go figure).

I personally would love to have this program, but yeah you should ask a someone about it first Sarah is usually on irc you could also try Belle or Denny.

What Simon is saying is even after 5 posts sometimes it takes a while to get pm’s activated, and make sure you turn it on in your settings once you have posted 5 times.

Did you enable private messaging in your options, if so try logging out and logging back in again might not work but its worth a try.

my tool sends the links to DAP. i choosed DAP because of multiconnection ^-^

it’s faster than other download managers, jeff.

EDIT: i used also an own download manager, but that was tooo buggy XD and you couldn’t download without having problems!
