I’m trying to identify a piece of music which appeared in the "Star Trek 25th Anniversary" game but which, I’m 99% sure, is an adaptation of the opening fragment of a recurring background theme used in the original Star Trek series. I went through several Trek albums by Alexander Courage, Fred Steiner, etc., but I haven’t found this theme anywhere. Could someone identify this…? This is it, as appearing in the game:
