Which rpg are you looking forward to most for Fall 2008?

Here are what I believe are the most anticipated rpg’s that will be out this fall, not including ports and remakes. There were some games that are not on the list because I think they are unlikely to make it out in time for 2008.

I’m not super hyped about any of these rpg’s actually at this moment. I’m probably most likely to get The Last Remnant and Dragon Quest IX though. Fable 2, Fallout 3, WoW: Wotlk, Lotro:Mom, seem pretty good but I don’t want to spend hundreds of hours on any single rpg. The other games are generally good but I am not super interested at the moment. I’m voting for The Last Remnant! What are you voting for? 🙂

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King gets my vote.

Although there is no set date, we all know Blizzard should release it later this year (hopefully in time for Christmas :P)

Blizzard plans to release World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, this Fall. It could be delayed, as could any other game on the list. I don’t think any of these games have a set release date but they are mostly expected to be out in Usa this Fall.

World of Warcraft, I have a demo of the game but I have yet to install it, maybe I’ll give it a try. Ngrplz, did you ever play Final Fantasy XI? I used to own it and played like 30 hours of it, I thought it was nice. It’s the only mmorpg I played though. Are you looking forward to Starcraft 2?

Never played FFXI as it requires a credit card and I’ve heard it’s pretty average. WoW is cheap and you get what you pay for.

I may look into FFXI if they release prepaid gamecards.

Don’t really get into Blizzard’s other titles….coz….well….WoW.

Yes prettry much, i love croosovers and especially this one. Imagine 6 companies with some or there best games like Darkstalkers, Disgea, Spectral Souls, Ar Tonelico, Mana-Khemia 2, Atalier Iris and Atelier Marie in one game and who knows maybe more characters from other series are up in the mix.

Guys, we all know Dragonsoul has no idea what he’s blathering about. It’s pointless to take him seriously. Just laugh at his stupidity/ignorance and move on instead of bitching at him; if he hasn’t grown a brain by now, he’s not going to.

Out of those on the list, I’m most definitely looking forward to Persona 4, although the US probably won’t get it until sometime next year due to localizing and such. More concerned with what I’m playing at the moment: Persona 3: FES, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, SMT: Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga, Final Fantasy XII. Yeah, I’m really behind on my RPG’s lol but that is more of a list of the order I’m going in until I beat them all.

Hmm, out of all those on the list I’m going to have to say Persona 3: FES. While I really like all the rest, I haven’t played them nearly as much as Persona 3 so I really don’t have too much of an opinion on them. They are all great games though.

Yes i play Maha-Khemia, it was pretty good actually but the most awesome thing this game has is it’s soundtrack is simply amazing. Someday i will buy it becuase a friend of mine has it but it wont sell it so in the future i will buy all the games that are involve in the croossover game X-Edge

I voted for the Last Remnant even though I dont have a PS3 yet, But i will have one around the time that is released and that will be the first game I purchase, it looks amazing.

Nice!! What other game do you recommend me? I’m playing Alundra 1 but may buy FF VII: Crisis Core in a few days. I’m getting FF Tactics A2 and Final Fantasy IV when they come out though. What is on your list of rpg’s to get?
