Where’d the car go??

Hey guys, I’m new here and was just wondering…

I can’t find the car (the "gift" from Dio)….is it supposed to disappear after you get the Highwind? Cause I wanna return to the desert and kill Cactuars, need the cash. I looked all over the continent :/ Thanks

Yes it is, get a Black Chocobo. But seriously, why would you bother with the car when you can go where ever you please with the Highwind?

Well you can’t get into the desert with the highwind, and I’m actually thinking of just trading the Desert Rose for a Gold Chocobo, but I need gil first to kill the SOB 🙂

Actually, the cactus creatures there are CactuErs 🙂 They only give you 1000 gil, but can be morph into the priceless Tetra-Elemental

If you want money then the magic pots in the northern crater is the way to go.

Or they were confiscated while Tifa was incapacitated in Junon after the summoning of the Meteor. Irony kicks in at this point, since Barret, Cait Sith and Yuffie goes and gets everyone to steal the highly renounced Highwind.

Well, that was the chance that I was thinking of. That, or pretty much anytime after Icicle Inn / during Great Glacier when you’re definitely locked out from going back to them.

2 things:

1) It’s easier to breed a damned Gold Chocobo yourself and it’ll be better for racing (if you care)
2) Fly the highwind into its head, you moron.
