The Godfather game ost

Since I’ve been looking for this soundtrack for a while and still no luck finding it.
For me there was only one solution… make it myself…
Not good at it…never done it, but at least I’ve got something to listen to…and who knows…maybe someone outhere can help this poor fellow ^_^

Okay, here is a step-bystep guide on how to extract and convet mus files.

1.First off you need to download the mus tools, you can find them here.Download (http://download.nba-live.com/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=1061)
(Don’t be fooled though it converts mus also, just have to change one line in the bat file from ASF to mus)

2.Once downloaded, extract the two files to a folder. call it whatever you want.

3. Now first off the mus files for the godfather are in an bigfile. (i have no idea which consol your using) Find the biffile with the mus files inside.

4. Extract all mus files to the folder with the music converter is.

5. in the folder right click on the file: extract music.bat and click edit. it will open up a page and then change the extension from .asf to .mus/

6. Now your ready to convert the files to wav. NOTE: make sure all mus files have no spaces in between them. use a renamer or soemthign to clear any spaces, otherwise it won’t work.

7. click extract music.bat and wait for the filesto process.

8. Thats it, now you can merge the files togeather, its kind of a painstaken process, but atleast you will have the complete soundtrack.

I suck at writing guides, hopes this helps.

it doesn’t work…

Got one big .mus file (980mb)…
Followed your instructions and nothing…
googled a bit, found some other softwares and one program tells me that there are no music files within…

I hope I’ve done something wrong…

Inside that mus file there are little tiny mus file segemnts, scan them with an extractor.

did it all…keep saying that there’s nothing in the mus file…

What platform is the game on (PC,PS2 ect)?

Okay, list all the audio files in the audio or music folder. or if you can, list all the files in the game dirtectory, that way i can point out which file contains the music.

That’s the one right?
the rest of the audio files contain ".exa" files

Okay then that looks like the one, this MUS file is gonna contain many mus segemnts that you have to extract.

So download this software.

Scan the big mus file for the smaller mus segments, make sure you have the mus options checked, then once you scanned them, extract them to the EA music converter folder.

I tried it and it keeps telling me that there’s nothing in it…
I Know…sounds weird…but thats whats happening..

ok i have this smaller mus segment and i extrack them to the Extrack Music folder, and i click on the Extrack Music.bat and it shows:
