Uh is this a bunch of selected songs from various soundtracks? What tracks are included in this? What is the bitrate?

The compilation gives me the opportunity to sample a composer I’ve wanted to get to know for a long time now and therefore is highly apprechiated. Thank you!

Still a diverse selection, but not in the slightest bit an orchestral compilation. There’s a bit of everything in here. This is not, however, a good representative of Kanno’s orchestral music since there is not a great deal of purely orchestral material here.

If it is not orchestral what else is it???????

Orchestral means "played by an orchestra". Not just "instrumental", or "piano and strings"…et cetera.

Well I dunno about the other soundtracks but the Escaflowne ones were recorded with the Warsaw Phillarmonic Orchestra if I remember correctly.

Yes, but it’s not really an "orchestral compilation" when it’s half orchestral, half small ensemble/a capella/something that sort of sounds like an acoustic guitar.

In answer to that, I won’t call it exclusively orchestral (solo piano, solo shakuhachi [Japanese flute], small ensemble, string quartet, etc is NOT orchestral) and I definitely won’t call it classical, because it isn’t!

Please, don’t offended – I don’t intend to denigrate your work. But you are calling this something it isn’t. People will download it with an expectation that the title will accurately describe the contents. It doesn’t.

That said, it’s still (as the previous one was) a fine collection.
