Most say that this is just useless, but they are all wrong.
Luck is a great stat, as critical hits are directly linked to it.
I had around 120 luck on Irvine, and I was just amazed.
I tried with Normal Ammo; 10 criticals out of 12 hits.
about the same percentage with all ammo, though it’s hard to count fast shot
^^

Critical hits are as common as normal hits without Luck boosted up.

What magic did you junction to it? I seem to recall Aura being one of the best magics to junction to Luck.

Aura with Luck +50%, ended up having 125 Luck in total.
Irvine’s Eva was also high, around 30%.
With Auto-Haste, 140 Spd and 80%-85% critical, Ultimecia was done before she could attack even once… During the whole Ultimecia battle thingy, she got no more than 5 turns. Griever got none, except the Shockwave Pulsar.
Meltdowned Griever and Fast Ammo, 50 shots in one Limit, he was done.
All bullets did around 3k and 6k, depending on criticals.

If you play on PC, I can send my save file so you can test it yourself 🙂
Just PM or sth.

No, it’s fine, I believe you…

That wasn’t in my mind, whether you believe or not.
I thought you’d like to test it (for the kicks of kicking Ultimecia’s sorceretic ass) and maybe learn something, or possibly do your own research with it ^^

There’s my main party’s junctions in the Adel topic, but they’re from Ultima Weapon times, so they got updated later.

Believe me, I’ve had more than enough kicks in the past kicking Ultimecia’s ass, and as for the research, I happily leave that to you.

I find utilizing the Vit+1 and Spr+1 ability add-ons and taking alternate characters up to 255 (with a decent junction) in both stat renders pretty the final boss/es pretty useless too!

I usually always have those +1 abilities as early as I can and equip them all the time. The games still so ridiculously easy without them, though, so it makes no real difference anyways.

Aye, you are right with that Garamond. It is a rather pointless game. Particularly when you have had ten years or so to work it out.

Rollercoaster Tycoon for the win.

man i agree that game is winning

It is the wintiful sauce of win pancakes. But with an added steel-rollercoaster twist.

I bet you loaded 50 or so people on a ride and knew they were going to die because you didn’t let them see it being tested first. I bet you did. I bet you did. Dead, boom. Gone. Poor little indiginous people of the RCT world.

Oh happy days.

Would you like to buy a copy of FF8? It has paw prints on it.
