Donkey Kong Barrel Blast VGM

For all those who have been looking I managed to find the donkey kong barrel blast soundtrack, I uploaded it here

Problem is the files have a .str extension and I have no idea how to play or convert them, if anyone figures out how to convert it to mp3 or some other common audio format please reupload it thx.

I can’t find a way to play them. Looks like this is some deep stuff, with programming and data structures and stuff like that involved. I’ll keep researching… 🙂

EDIT – Actually, I think I got it. Some don’t sound too good, though. I’ll upload what I can right now.

It’s a simple rip. I used in_cube (http://www.hcs64.com/in_cube.html) in Winamp to listen to the files and then converted them to mp3. The .ASR files sound great, but the .STR files, which are most of them, sound quite bad. This is all I can do, though. Hopefully someone can provide a good quality rip sometime down the road 🙂

Okay, it took me a fair amount of searching, but I actually found the files (the title’s from the Japanese/European version, though)! Here ya go:

As it turns out, I used to have these files seeing the alternate names. I deleted them because I thought nobody would be interested. VEry well, I’ll start on them.

Cool I always really wanted this soundtrack I’m surprised no one has ripped it yet it really does have good music.
