What’s the best way to level materia?

I’m trying to lvl up some materia, but the only way I can see to do this is if the DMW gets at least a limit verge (as well as using the materia, I know)… guess my REAL question is, does anyone know how to make it go into limit verge more often?

yea get a materia that enhances chance of one limit like assault rush (purple) and it will also increase chances of limit verges…
But to be honest… there is no point to level up materia, or even have it at all… you could go thru the whole game with out using one piece of materia… I suggest HP Plus, ATK Plus materias, and thats about it

Ok, thanks. I also seem to be having trouble getting the final memories for my DMWs yet I have the respective materias maxed…any other ways to max that out?

I’d say an easy way to do it is equip the materia once you get to a decent level like 25 or more, then just go into that first training mission and just put the psp down until it’s over. Each time the DMW activates it will fully heal you and you should be fine to do that over and over. That way you don’t have to concentrate on battling the whole time…or at all O.o

After previously beating the game, I used my gameshark to set it so that I was awarded 9000 AP after every battle. So you can imagine I mastered the most advance of Materia, even duplicated them as well.
