So what the hell is up with this "versus"

Maybe I’m missing something about FFVSXIII, but basically as I understand it’s a spinoff of XIII with KH-style system. So, I don’t get why everyone’s so hyped up about this game when they haven’t played XIII yet and it’s not out. I also kinda blame Square-Enix for this, but wouldn’t it make more sense to be excited about that game after people already played FFXIII? Or am I missing something here… cause it looks as though they’re trying to put both out at the same time, then again I haven’t been up on news so maybe I AM missing something.

It’s not a spin off really, it’s just set in the same world as far as I know.

So I guess that’s your answer. I’ll take this information as is for now. We won’t know for sure until it comes out. Frankly, I don’t really care if it is related or not.

The thing to be excited about is that it`ll be something road movie-like.
Besides still up until now a lot less of things about FFVSXIII are revealed than FFXIII so that is what makes people to be really interested in it.

What about Crisis Core?

I’ve heard mixed things, but I can’t say for sure. I definitely want to play it though. Some say it’s fantastic, others say it’s repetitive.

Well Im going to buy Crisis Core today I want to see what’s up.

Crisis Core is a bit repetitive at times…especially since most of the gameplay time comes from the side missions given to you.

Most of the story seems to be more like filler to me…or them not trying at all. Things get interesting when you get to Nibelheim tho since you are actually playing as Zack this time…just like that flashback in FFVII (with the exception of Angeal and Genesis being there.)

What about Crisis Core?

Crises Core is worth a buy for the story if anything. Combats ok in a mindless action sort of way ( think Dynasty Warriors mindless 1 button does all attack action, but with less enemys) Materia spices it up a little at least.

Borrowing the game is a good idea seeing how you can go through the whole main storyline in about 15 hours or so ( theres also 300 VERY repetitive missions you can go through which should add at the least 25 more hours of playtime. All basicly being get from point A too point B, but eh at least they tryed too make the game longer I suppose)
