My favourite film them without a doubt is the surface of the sun from "sunshine". It’s really moving and relaxing. here’s a link if you haven’t heard it before http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWlXU2DeYkQ

What’s your favourite film theme?

Something by Ennio Morricone or maybe the Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

I am still pissed about the fact that the soundtrack to "Sunshine" has yet to be released. As for movie themes, I go for the classics: Star Wars; the Lord of the Rings; Jurassic Park and so on. 😀

the best movie theme so far is the themes from LOTR. The one performed by ENYA and ENIGMA.

If we are counting musicals in this then I will say High Society. If not then Blade Runner

I don’t really have a favorite movie theme.
I suppose if I had to pick one it would be the opening theme to Star Trek: First Contact.
Jerry Goldsmith is a very prolific musician.
But as a whole, I think my favorite movie soundtrack would be Batman Begins. I love Hans Zimmer’s heavy, layered, yet harmonic style in general, but the Batman begins score is my favorite.

One of the most emotional movie themes I’ve heard is the main theme from "World Trade Center". Listen to it here if you haven’t heard it yet:
