Who is the hooded figure in Cornelia?

Hey All,

I’m fairly new to Final Fantasy. I have a quick question about FF1 Anniversary Addition. I’ve played the whole game and read through a few walkthroughs to find the answer but to no avail. After beating Garland and the bridge is built if you go back to Cornelia there is a blue hooded figure there. When you talk to it, he or she walks away and you dont see them again until the final chaos. Who is this person and what is the purpose? Is it some kind of special thing in the game? If anyone knows who or what this is please help me out here. Thank you very much!

Hm, i noticed that person aswell, but im not that far into the game(just went to this place with all these blue flames and got my arse kicked)….lols not really a point to this post, just thought id tell you i had seen the person, and also make you think at the end of this post, you will have an answer..haha :p

I’m sure that person has something to do with the storyline. I’ll look into it.

EDIT: Quick question, what version are you playing? I’m on the GBA version, and do not see a hooded figure.

Well im using the PSP version. Though im also playing the NES version. But i havnt got that far.
