What is Sonic Unleashed? Is it a movie?

It’s the only currently known name for an upcoming Sonic title. SEGA trademarked "Sonic Unleashed" fairly recently, and not too long ago, they released a most appetizing trailer for the newest Sonic title. It evokes memories of the PS2 Klonoa release combined with "Sonic and the Secret Rings" for the Wii. There are a lot of traditional Sonic elements included (such as loop-de-loops, authentic platform jumping, and actual speed).

If SEGA actually gives them enough time to put this title together properly, it may be the redemption that "Sonic the Hedgehog" on the Xbox 360 was originally envisioned to be.

If it looks to be combined with Sonic And the Secret Rings then chances are the game will suck

Dude…are you smoking? You’ve just insulted my complete self by calling Sonic Unleashed a Wiiware game. Sonic Unleashed is the next big Sonic title coming for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PS2. And how the hell can you call it a Wiiware game? Just look at those beautiful graphics!!! The game looks like a damn Pixar movie, seriously(on Xbox 360 and PS3 versions)

Sonic is the only playable character. SEGA said it was a solo adventure of Sonic, but Tails, Knuckles and Shadow will have an appearance on the story. There will also be a mini game involving the Tornado. The game is also a single player game. No multiplayer. The only "different" things you’ll use is to whether use the hedgehog or the werehog. Plus it’s better if it’s Sonic alone. I mean…you play a Sonic game for Sonic…nothing else, why would someone play a Sonic game just for Knuckles or Shadow or some other character?
