Hurry!!!
SEGA Superstars Tennis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_Superstars_Tennis) is a new SEGA licensed Tennis title released on several mainstream platforms this week.
The majority of the music, including the main theme tune, is composed by none other than Richard Jacques, who himself is best known for composing several SEGA game soundtracks throughout the ages. Such games he’s composed for include OutRun 2, Sonic R and Sonic 3D for Saturn, Jet Set Radio on Dreamcast and the recently released ‘The Club.’
It’d be awesome if anyone could rip this soundtrack to hear some of the remixes he’s done for this game, like the Space Harrier minigame theme, Outrun court music and the incredibly catchy main theme for the game in general.
Thanks!

I would love to listen to good ol Sega music on Sega Superstars Tennis too. Could some one also rip the music from the DS version.
Hey, there’s nothing wrong with Sonic R. =P Sure, the music was cheesy, but it reminds me so much of the good old days of SEGA.
The Main Theme for SEGA Tennis is great, as Richard says himself you can imagine the lyrics ‘SEGA, Superstars’ to the themes main jingle.
I bought the game today for 360 and it’s pretty awesome. There’s a good deal of missions, but the characters and courts can’t help but feel lacking. There should be a golden axe court, there should be a space harrier court, there should be Axel from Crazy Taxi dammit!
I believe the PS2 version is identical to the 360 and PS3 versions, just without the Online play and lower quality graphics obviously.
And for remixed music expect to find Space Harrier, OutRun, House of the Dead and a few more I think. =P
i can’t help but find this ironic because i’m listening to the sonic R soundtrack right now lol.
also, seconding request. the game’s theme is catchy.
I think it is, after downloading what Mogman posted. The DS title has significantly less music tracks than the console versions.
Bumped again. Any luck with the iso, Mogman?
My friend, we may need to talk. I really apreciate what you have been doing.
By the way, which one of these songs is the main theme song? Because I can’t really tell…

The main theme is simply called ‘Main Menu’ composed by Jacques. Main Menu 2 and 3 are variations of the theme. =P
And yeah, Sumo Digital created this title, but SEGA had very heavy input and control over what they were allowed to do. Sumo also said they’d happily extend the SEGA Superstar games into other genres, such as fighting or racing.
Thanks mogman…
I can’t find it anywhere around the internet and there aren’t any tools that can unpack the PAK file of the game…

Thanks, tho
can anybody upload this to rapidshare or something other than MU? MU sucks big time as I’m downloading with like 10 kb/s.
i want this music so badly, so please. :\
i love this OST XD
I would like to second this. The music this game has is so awesome, yet this is the only place I have come across that has a gamerip of it.
Thank you, Tails, but I’m lost. What the heck is an .isws file? I can’t find any info online and my usual players won’t play it. Almost as baffling are the .MIB and MIH files; the only info I can find are that they’re ASCII text and image headers, respectively.
vgmstream is required for .MIB and .isws. I use foobar2000 with foo_input_vgmstream, which is at foobar2000: Components Repository – vgmstream decoder (http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_input_vgmstream)
I think that Audacity and Winamp also have vgmstream plugins, and vgmstream is also available as a standalone.
If you don’t want to install vgmstream, I can convert the files to your preferred format.
I’m not sure what the MIH files are for though, mayhap some checksum?
Sega usually doesn’t seem to mind their music getting distributed over the net, so what’s different about this game?
I don’t think that SEGA has done anything though.

I’d be happy to convert them myself if I knew what on earth to use to do so. But Flac or high-quality mp3 are my preferred formats.
If you do want to convert them yourself, then it can be done by using foobar2000 with the afore-linked component foo_input_vgmstream, as in foobar2000, whatever is playable is convertible.. I think that the same should apply to Audacity, but I’ve only tried foobar2000.
