This one is clean.
Edit: I finally got it downloading, I’ll be hosting it on filefront as well when it’s done!
How did this rip happen?
There’s no sound test in this game, right?
How did the ripper manage to get around the engine sounds?
All right, the FileFront link for if the servers of Sendspace are full again: Here! (http://files.filefront.com/Mario+Kart+DSrar/;9923032;/fileinfo.html)

Yup its taken directly from the rom and then read using a plugin and converted to mp3 in winamp.
I hope someone can utilize this technique to create a clean rip of the soundtrack to FFXII Revnant Wings, because that would also be fantastic.
Awesome regardless.
Either they have vehicle sounds from the game, either the tracks aren’t re-looped. This one is the only one without game’s sounds I found. But musics stop right at the end, without any second of relooping.
So does anyone have a MKDS OST without vehicle sounds, .mp3’s, and at least 1-re looped tracks ? I’ll probably request that in the Requests Forums since it seems that this thread is dead. Thanks.
e.g used in Mario Kart wii 😛 Desert Stage
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?gozoaozihzm I used ogg since its 4 channel audio
Not that I heard the OST but its probably stereo if there ever was and not surround like the game has 😛 Tho only around 4 or so songs use surround sound the rest like most streamed audio on game systems uses just stereo.
Still searching for MKDS proper OST btw 😛
hats where the maria kart ds rip came from and alot of other ds rips on this forum.. I just converted the wave to ogg myself actually.. The whole soundtracks of a game. e.g mario kart ds and many more game music can be only a few MB in size and playable through the winamp plugin found online if you search hard 😛
I still don’t understand why "Final Lap" musics aren’t in it, since they’ve been ripped for MKWii or MKDD ost’s for example. Does someone know where to find them ?
