no more heroes
the new mario kart
brawl (of course)
okami
opoona (nod 2 chewey)
that’s more or less every game i am really really dying to play right now. is there anything else that should be awesome coming out for wii in the near future? or we can just discuss the undeniable awesomeness these games should be. i am really excited about a lot of the lineup that’s on the way for the wii!
…
I just find myself uninterested with it lately. Also, I’m knee deep into FFXII so that doesn’t help the situation.
Inconcievable. Seriously, I have no idea what I’ll play next. Nothing looks promising, atm.
I am pretty interested in FFCC:The Crystal Bearers. I really hope they don’t mess it up this time around because I think FFCC’s style is pretty neato. Along with that, I’m looking forward to WiiWare a lot too. The only games I know that will be featured on it so far are FFCC (different to TCB) and some Pokemon Ranch game where you can play with pokemon from your Diamond/Pearl games.
I guess I’m also interested in Boom Blox too. I love Physics-based games a whole bunch + I guess I want to see what Steven Spielberg can do in the gaming universe.
Disaster: Day of Crisis looks like a bunch of fun.
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World is another title I’m looking forward to mainly because I enjoyed the original ~
Then there’s the titles like Wii Motor Sports Airplane, Wii Music etc. etc. They all look like they could be fun.
Oh, Animal Crossing Wii. Aaaand for other people, Resident Evil 0 is coming out on the Wii sometime (RE games aren’t really my thing – I’m a wuss)
That’s all I can think of right now. Harvest Moon maybe?
Edit: Battalion Wars 2 and Fire Emblem (they haven’t hit Aus shores yet – I’m not even sure if BW2 will!)
Another title I’ve seen floating is Baroque (PS2 port). No idea if I’d like it though – haven’t really looked into it.
MORE EDITS: I knew I was forgetting something! de Blob!
Overview:
One of the most original games set to debut for Wii this year, de Blob throws gamers into a monochromatic world and challenges them to paint it. Use a gelatinous hero to roll and platform through colorless cities, spraying them with gobs of paint as you go. Tight controls, unique challenges and dynamic funky music add to the experience.
It looks like a whole bunch of fun, really.
Another game I just found is King’s Story.
Overview:
The makers of Harvest Moon, Final Fantasy XII, and Dragon Quest VIII team up to deliver one of the most imaginative games thus far on Wii. Players take the role of a new king, and learn to command their subjects, do battle, and advance the world, all wrapped around beautiful hand-drawn art and fresh, watercolor style.
Another small edit:
Just found a game called Fragile. Some info and scans~
About the items and the exploration :
– there is a great variety of environments to explore (hotel, amusement parc, train station, underground shopping center,…etc). "
– in addition to using it like a flashlight, you can use the Wiimote like a microphone to investigate your environment, the Wiimote speaker reproducing the notable sounds of your surroundings.
– When you discover an item that’s been left behind, the development of the story changes too. In fact, each item holds the memories of his disappeared owner .
– Obviously, while some items are actually integral part of the environment, some items can actually be used directly by the character to progress and survive. For example, you can sometimes find an item that can serve as a weapon, like a golf club.
– The graffities left throughout the game can also retain the thoughts and the feelings of people that were once in their place. In fact, when you investigate these graffities (all different in accordance with the person that left it), a ghostly shadow appears before the eyes of the character to reveal him some of his backstory and give him some hints that will help him progress in the game…
About the battles :
– As it’s an RPG, there are obviously battles against enemies. The battle system is actually totally seamless, meaning no good old screen cut out.
– As an "ruins exploration game", there is a fair dose of nervous tension, as the enemies burst out from the darkness to attack.
– Given that you’re totally free to use the Wiimote as a flashlight or as a weapon at any moment in real time, it’s also vital that you act promptly to unearth the enemies (with the flashlight) and attack them (with the weapon) before they attack you.
– You never know where the enemy is going to come out from, so in the case when the enemy got you by surprise and got close enough to you, a close range weapon like the stick or the golf club should be used.
– The bow, on the other hand, allows you to attack preemptively at great distance.
– There is actually a large variety of use for each item you find. [the magazine doesn’t give much details on that, but it appears that you can combine different items to create alternative weapons, and such].
About the enemies :
– When every human vanished from the surface of the Earth, all that was left were wild animals like stray dogs and some kind of evil spectres roaming in the darkness. These creatures are what became the enemies of the main character, Seto.
– You can detect invisible spectres thanks to the kind of microphone that amplifies the whispers of these creatures through the Wiimote speaker.
– These spectres tend to be invisible in the dark, so the flashlight should be used to uncover them, forcing them to materialize, and attack to defeat them.
I also found another interesting WiiWare title by the name of [B]LostWinds. Looks like it will be a bunch of fun 😀

Looks like we share the same perspective, although I do periodically play it.

It does look very good if you ask me. I’m still curious as to how the story will play out and if the gameplay will stay similar to the original’s.
The Wii control scheme always seems to feel shoddy for action/shooter games to me, so if I were to buy it I’d probably buy it on one of the HD consoles.
I really enjoyed it while playing Resident Evil 4 and Metroid Prime Corruption. The wii version of sw the force unleashed has got 5 more levels and an exclusive online lightsaber duel mode. That makes it really interesting i think. On the other hand the graphics on the HD consoles are really awesome and the physics engine is so great, which won’t be in the Wii version… Difficult to decide…
Opoona
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World
Fragile
Hopefully another Kirby game. <<;;
I SOLD ZELDA o_O

Ive had the same problem. Ive only played it a handful of times in the last few months. Zelda isnt a bad game but I just couldn’t be bothered getting into it again. Theres not many Wii games coming out that interest me either.
