because I am tired of waiting for someone to come up out of nowhere with music from Battalion Wars 2, Army Men RTS, and Yu-gi-oh!: Falsebound Kingdom. I’m gonna take action for everyone out there (@ music rippers: or get off your lazy butt and rip them). now…

how do I rip music from gamecube discs?

I ripped the Resident Evil music straight from my gamecube using a laptop with Adobe Audition 3.0.

If you don’t want to buy Adobe Audition than down load Audacity – a free but powerful application for editing and recording audio (google it).

Try and get a connection like the one below and connect the red and white audio leads from Gamecubes standard A/V lead to the device and then connect it to the line-in of a PC’s sound card or a laptop line-in.

Turn off any in-game sfx and hit record in Audacity while the music is running in your favourite game.

Hope this helps 🙂

I’m in the same boat as JJ except I have in my possession of the songs but they’re all split into 11 second files. can anyone show me how to put them all together and convert it into MP3? With files like these it seems like I’m going to run out of space if I keep them like this.

@ music rippers: or get off your lazy butt and rip them

Uh… hello? You call us lazy for sharing stuff with you for free? Man.

I would’ve offered you helping in ripping or even ripping one of these soundtracks for ye, but that single sentence destroyed my mood for being nice to you.

Don’t take everything for granted.

@Vanilla:
You can take Audacity and put the files together one by one. It’s a lot of work to get everything right, but you sure can pull it off.
Good luck, man.

I have to agree, all of us rippers spend many hours ripping music and we get called lazy because we haven’t gotten around to doing a rip of a game you want.
I also would have helped but i too have been put off by those comments.

@Vanilla: I also wish you luck and my assistance if needed.

I’m going to have to hit you up on that offer, Jessie. I feel so helpless…

It is so hard that I give up a lot of time ago. Now I am satisfied only with official releases.

Sorry.
