is the movie same as the game?= silent hill

i watched the movie silent hill, but i’m not sure if its corresponding to the game, i cant tell.

It seemed like some sort of strange bastardization of 1 and 2 – mostly 1, only without a lot of the plot elements, and then Pyramid Head was thrown in there, apparently only for shits and giggles.

I personally hated how they threw in Pyramid Head. They should’ve left him out because a) he had nothing to do with the plot or the first game and 2) there’s a reason why he’s in the second. The game is much better than the movie, but the movie was able to at least capture the creepy feeling that Silent Hill is known for.

I liked the movie, but I’m not the hardest person to please, tbqh.

silent hill missed that oppressive paranoid mood the games and in particular part 1 & 2 carry with them
its painstakingly true to the games in terms of set and sound design but thats about all it knew to do with the license
