Endless Ocean RST

I realise someone’s already posted a rip of this, but these have the Hayley Westenra tracks (even though I don’t care much for ’em). The others (which are by Ayako Saso) also have the intros and loops mixed together, so I dunno if this makes the rip worth your time.

I’m curious….
can I ask how you ripped/extracted these? The sound of most of the tracks sounds very muffled like the levels aren’t properly balanced.
The instrumental tracks especially sound quite different from other rips.

I had a compressor in my wave editor’s plugin chain to balance out the quiet LOUD quiet moments of Hayley Westenra’s stuff (especially Benedictus). I didn’t really notice the subtle butchering of the others because I also use a compressor in WinAmp for the same purpose, and I’m used to that making everything sound "hot".

Anyway, there’s a new link in the first post for a revised rip without the compression. Apologies to everyone who downloaded the old one – you’ll have to get it again.

I still think they don’t sound balanced correctly…. like the mid and low end is too low or something…. I dunno, maybe it’s just me.

I can notice a big difference between these and the rips peppydude did of the instrumental tracks, though…
