ktulu, those cartoons are the ones i’ve heard of the most often. but excuse my forgetting looney tunes.
WELL SO SORRY. JUST FORGET ABOUT THE POLL AND FREAKING SAY WHATEVER CARTOON YOU LIKE.
The Tick, Inspector Gadget and Ed, Edd n’ Eddy also hold permanent places in my juvenile heart.
But for poll purposes I went with South Park…
FRAUDULENCE… I do not recall Family Guy being on the poll before.
forget.
the.
polls.
But out of the options on the poll, Fairly Odd Parents is Win.
– Rocko’s Modern Life
– Hey Arnold
– Doug
– Ren & Stimpy
– Rugrats (The old ones excluding Kimmy and Dil)
– Dexter’s Lab
– Teenager Mutant Ninja Turtles (80’s version)
The new one is annoying, I like the old ones, they were more violent then the new ones.
I almost forgot my most favorite cartoons!
– Batman The Animated Series
– Superman The Animated Series
– Justice League / Justice League Unlimited
"Family Guy" is the only even worth mentioning, and it’s mediocre at best.
WHAT ABOUT:
Animaniacs
Superman/Batman/Spiderman The Animated Series
Freakazoid
Historia
Batman Beyond
Justice League (And Unlimited)
Inspector Gadget
Pinky & the Brain
Thunder Cats
X-Men (Animated & the "high school" version)
Under Dog
Samurai Pizza Cats
And that’s the only ones off the top of my head…
Edit: I used to watch Beast Wars before going to school, too.
A sad day for the world T_T
And Family Guy is so worthless. Terrible show with an occasional joke that serves to distract from a pithy, hardly-there plot.
Autobots inferior.
Look at me, referencing Transformers. Wheeeeeee…
But I was a 90’s teen, so my best:
Beetle Juice
Rocko’s Modern Life
EXO Squad
The Real Ghost Busters
Batman: The Animated Adventures (and the others shows that would follow.)
C.O.P.S
The Little’s
Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers
Animaniacs
1st season, or before they fired that canadian cat
My pick, Fam Guy
Ren and Stimpy before John K was fired.
Mysterious Cities of Gold (best continuing epic story series)
Beavis and Butthead (not every episode was gold, but a lot of them were.)
Tiny Toon Adventures
of course it goes without saying, the CLASSIC Looney Tunes, and classic Disney shorts.
Many of the UPA shorts especially "The tell-tale heart".
The original "Arabian Knights" before Disney bastardized it. (movie, not series but it had to be mentioned).
First season of Transformers/Transformers the movie (the awesome 80’s animated movie version)
Pretty much anything Jay Ward (even the original Captain Crunch commercials)
Ducktales (the first 2 seasons, it kinda got crappy after that)
Gargoyles
Darkwing Duck
A very short lived surreal saturday morning 80’s show called "Kidd Video". (the plot lines were goofy as hell, but the animation was awesome)
Galaxy High
Thundercats
The Alvin show (original)/The Chipmunks (the 80’s version) Plus there was some pretty impressive animation in the Chipmunk Adventure movie.
the original Scooby Doo Where Are You? (I know… insanely goofy plots, and very limited animation, but the voice work, background paintings and just plain fun make up for it). I also liked The new Scooby Doo Movies, although their choices of "feature celebrities" often were bizarre.
Liquid Television (remember when MTV was fun?)
Aeon Flux
Courage the Cowardly Dog Show (is this EVER going to come out on dvd in season sets???)
Pirates of Dark Water (Pretty impressive story telling and animation for Hannah Barabara)
SWAT kats (ditto)
Gi-Joe (there is no way in hell some of the stuff they showed on this series would make it on tv in todays Politically Correct enviroment. But man this show rocked, overall great scripts, and great animation. YO JOE!)
Umm all I can think of for now, though I am sure I can think of more later.
the original transformers
thundercats
HE-MAN and the masters of the universe (again, the original series)
gi joe
i remember liking rambo a lot too.
the snorkels (imo, much better than the smurfs)
bravestar
inspector gadget
BATMAN the animated series/the new adventures of batman and robin, batman beyond was ok, but not as awesome. the new batman cartoon is shit.
the real ghostbusters was awesome.
x-men- pretty much all the 90’s marvel cartoons.
also, the northamerican version of voltron was awesome.
before you say PHAIL and all that, read me out.
i liked to watch the cartoon BEFORE voltron appeared.
before voltron appeared, the starships would engage in battle with the enemy, and there would be lots of lasers and explosions, but once voltron appeared, it turned into the typical sentai series.
i think thats pretty much it on the cartoon sides. the rest of my time in tv was/is for anime.

(repeat 15X)
Chip N’ Dale Rescue Rangers
Ducktales
Darkwing Duck
Goof Troop
Gummi Bears
X-men
Tiny Toons Adventures
Animaniacs
Pinky and the Brain
Gargoyles
House of Mouse (particularly the house of mouse segments)
Avatar
Batman
Justice league (and its unlimited form)
There are many other shows that are good but this list is what I consider the best.
Man Fuck ATLA!
someone doesn’t know quality television.
Eh, FOP and DP are decent, not the greatest things ever, but decent.
They are consistently funny, witty, and well written and always have a point (and sometimes a simplistically profound one at that).
#2 – The Simpsons
Though their recent episodes don’t humor me as much, they are kings in their genre.
#3 – Family Guy
The new kids on the block and one of the funniest shows I have ever watched.
#4 – Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Frequently hilarious but sometimes their jokes miss. Meatwad4life.
#5 – Frisky Dingo
Always hilarious but the plot is usually pretty ridiculous but the jokes always, always make me laugh.
King of the Hill was okay at first. Now it’s just filler for the Simpsons. And the Simpsons is not even that great anymore.
Hahaha for sure. But yeah, Family Guy wins.

3. Two Stupid Dogs
4. Dexter’s Lab
Adult
1. Cow and Chicken, although aimed at children xD heh, well… I can quite happily blame that show for making me as messed up as i am today, it had a LOT of adult elements to it, really great show though ;D
2. Family Guy… Meh, granted it’s really good, it’s just not a classic T_T it doesn’t have the "Oh yeahh! THAT =’D" nostalgia factor, and originality.
3. Southpark, hmm… surprisingly funny, witty indeed, smart, always new, makes a whole show based on something in the real world, such as the "Hadron Collider?"… yeah, good good stuff ^^
4.Futurama, ehhh… S’good -_- but like the simpsons, all i can say is… Meh, s’getting old… just my opinion.
Children
1. Catdog, yepp… Really good ;D what more can i say.
2. Courageee!! mm… SOO gooddd >< nothing quite like it, but i would have to say this is kinda children/adult, i mean, anything that can give u nightmares, and has some pretty grotesque ideas and imagery… yeahh >> hard one that, but damn… NEED to get it on DVD xD
3. "Two Stupid Dogs" *EXPLODES* Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!… How could i forget it! It was incredible xD so funny, so good, so *-*… wow, thanks just for making me remember, writing THAT down now xD
4. Dexter’s Lab, yepp… Fantastic, really good, original ideas, always fresh, a classic ;D
Now for some that haven’t been mentioned that i NEED to get, SOMEHOW ><
Okay,
1. "Moomins" (Anime): Godly, utter brilliance, luckily i got this on DVD xD someone made it, ripped ’em all of whatever, made a DVD, and i was lucky enough to get it from ebay ^^ Yeeeeeeee ;D
2. "Dink, the Little Dinosaur": Insane amounts of nostalgia here… Just, phwarrrr xD NEED NEED NEED NEED NEEEEED this >< where can i getz it T_T
3. "Dino Babies": This show single-handedly sculpted me into the lovely boy i am today ;P nah… it’s, ughh… It’s beyond words, i used to watch it obsessively and it’s just… WOW *-*
4. "Goof Troop": LOVE the "Goof Movie"s… LOVE the series, LOVE Goofy, luckely i found a torrent for the WHOLE series on "Mininova"… 12.18Gig.
So all i have to say now is…
BRING THESE OUT ON DVD!!!

Thomass Dx nooooo… BAD CATTT!!!…
-_- Thomas, my ginger lovely cat… Peed in the box, containing ludicrous amounts of nostalgia and awesomeness… >< Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh….. Get’s me annoyed, upset, and disorientated just thinking about it DDD’x…
All tapes… Ruined T_T
Batman: The Animated Series, Gargoyles, and Beast Wars are my all-time favorites.
South Park is the best on that list.
Yes, Rob, everything. I’m going to watch Beast Wars next, though 😀
THANK YOU. I have every episode on my ipod. Often funnier, wittier and with a better more personal moral than south park, without getting all up itself about right to free speech and to insult.
I also love south park up til series 5 or so but its still fairly amusing, such as the singing mouse/penis duet in season 12.
Drawn Together is also very funny.
Family Guy is just random rubbish that people presume has some deeper joke (which they didn’t get). 9/10 times there was no deeper joke. I quite like the jokes at Meg’s expense but other than that its very boring.
boring?
I couldn’t disagree more, it’s simple humor, it’s fun, and it goes places other shows are too smart to go ;D
I like ^^
-beavis and butthead
-x-men (possibly the first animated series)
-ed, edd, and eddy
-futurama
-reboot
-the zeta project
-freakazoid
-aaaaah real monster
-ren and stimpy
The more recent cartoons are starting to suck nowadays and cartoon network is starting to implode on itself (cnReality? are you kidding me with that shit?) but I still find chowder and flapjack amusing.
I mean, cartoons are REALLY sucking now -_-
Does anyone remember the fucking MOOMINS???
now THAT was done right ;D
Oh heyy, i just found out the "Moomin" the 1990’s Anime/Cartoon, the GOOD one… absolutely amazing TV series,
Is NOW coming out on DVD xD 19years later, lol.
But damn, am i happy… yess i am ;D
I checked ’em out on eBay, they’re coming out like, July?
Either way, can’t wait *-*
Just wish they made cartoons like they used to T_T
hands down

Dragon Tales
Hide and Seek

Care Bears
Franklin
Strawberry Shortcake
Holly Hobbie
Postman Pat (alright. Guess With Jess)

Bali
Lauras Stern
Louie (Didou)
Leapfrog Learning DVDs
Curious George
My Little Pony Tales
Little Princess
Little Monsters
And lastly, the RAM in RAMChYLD. I can never forget those. I even arranged them into a triforce pillar!
Rugrats (triforce of power)
Arthur (triforce of wisdom)
Madeline (triforce of courage)
There’s much, much more. But these are the ones that left a mark on me.
DUNNA DUNNA DUNA DUN DUN
GO GO SPIDER-MAN
YOU MIGHTY MORPHIN, TURTLES IN A HALF SHELL
SPIDER-MAN!
I consider the best ones to be:
Simpsons, King Of The Hill (newer stuff)
Animaniacs, Freakazoid, Earthworm Jim (90s toons)
Looney Tunes, Rocky and Bullwinkle (old toons)
Out of all of em, eeergh….Freakazoid. The Astro Boy parody was hilarious.
Oh, speakin of which
Astro Boy (anime)
Though I’d say Swat Kats: Radical Squadron. That show would have been as big as Scooby doo right now if Ted tuner didn’t decide to show how rich he is by canning the show for the lols. >_<
Damn that bastard! Damn him to hell!
In terms of voting for stuff:
Danny Phantom (especially the series closing episodes- characters really matured cfor the greater good) and Family Guy- earlier eps of that, to be specific… Though the latest eps have been a return to form overall- I won’t get into detail why…
As for those off-list (both Western and Anime):
TDI/TDA- This show(s) grew on me with is character development, and how it’s just silly, but well thought-out in spoofing Reality TV and how much it sucks… CN definitiely needs to treat it better.
6Teen- Same TDI/TDA, minus the spoofing parts. Same goes for Stoked… But not so much. Otherwise, like Daria, this is teen angst done right IMHO.
Daria- Where is this brilliance when needed? It needs to come out on DVD, now.
Ruby Gloom- Why is this not on TV here in the US, or at least available on DVD?!!
Madeline- I never thought after all these years (I’m 22, BTW), that I’d find myself watching this- and loving every minute of it I can. Nuff’ Said.
Mona The Vampire- same as Madeline/Ruby Gloom.
Arthur- Same as Madeline. Though it keeps going, it’s still made of win. More than I can say about FOP, which is made of fail and child abuse…
WordGirl- Same as Arthur and Madeline.
Little Bear- Same as Arthur, Madeline, and WordGirl. Franklin, too, though it’s basically a Little Bear clone…But it’s a good clone.
Growing up Creepie- An overlooked gem on dead space (Sadly, I know a certain crappy Disney cartoon that no one has touched on that wishes it were this.)
Grossology- Same as Creepie, minus my ranting on about Disney.
Jimmy Two-Shoes (stupid, but it’s grown on me, especially with how it handles most of its characters and setting despite BS executive meddling).
RobotBoy- MLAATR wishes it could have been this good, IMHO.
Corneil and Bernie- an obscure gem, though a knockoff of Ed, Edd, and Eddy: that being a boy and dog he babysits… One done, right, however!
The Secret Show- Another obscure gem. Reminds of Get Smart= minus real-world physics…
Penguins of Madagascar- For a movie-adapted toon, it’s one done right. Don’t watch it much, BUT IT KICKS ASS when I’m There.
Back at the Barnyard- Same as Penguins.
Jimmy Neutron- In my own eyes, its Dexter’s Lab, done slightly better despite the goofy CGI.
El Tigre- The Adventures of Manny Rivera- this is an overlooked gem and a misfire on stupid Nickelodeon’s behalf. IT NEEDS A REBOOT- one done by someone who cares about cartoons as much as I and lot of people here do.
ChalkZone- Same as El-Tigre… Artistic and well thought out.
Invader ZIM- I don’t like the show, I just like what it does and how it does it. ALL WIN- unlike Kid Vs Kat- meh…
Zeta Gundam- THAT’S HOW WAR IS WITH GIANT, CITY/ IN SPACE-SMASHING MECH!!!
Victory Gundam- Same with ZETA! TAKE THAT WING- YOU SUCK!!!
Turn A Gundam- I’ve only seen so many eps of this, and I STILL LOVE IT.
Cowboy Bebop- I didn’t watch this much, but what I saw was WIN.
Samurai Champloo- Same with Cowboy Bebop.
Outlaw Star- Not having this in my DVD collection and missing it makes me aprreciate it more for what it does overall with so little epiusodes…
Ruroni Kenshin- Same with Outlaw Star.
Any Batman Series, including Brave and The Bold and Batman Beyond (ESPECIALLY).
Code Lyoko- good storytelling, likable and involving characters, a computer nerd for a hero- this has it all!
Hey Arnold- Nothing to say beyond this, but- CITY+ almost everyone with a story to tell= WIN.
Ben 10 Series- Like The original Star Wars movies or anything with good timeline storytelling, this grew on me big time.
The Current Iron Man/X-Men/Fantastic Four/ Spider-Man series out now- That’s Armored Adventures, Wolverine…, World’s Greatest Heroes, and Spectacular, to be specific: Certain gripes ignored, THEY ALL WIN.
Avatar: The Last Airbender- I Couldn’t forget this. EVER.
King of The Hill- Same as Avatar- only a bit better.
The Simpsons- Almost there alongside KOTH, as future episods have tried to show me despite plenty of rough seasons.
Futurama- Same as KOTH and Avatar. One of a kind shows that I don’t expect to ever get made again unless money, balls, and effort are all there.
Futurama is a brilliant look into the future, as it suggests.
Robot Chicken- Becuase they’re stoner cartoons DONE RIGHT.
The Venture Bros. – A Johnny Quest spoof- done with skill.
Finally, anything Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry- Old school shorts only!!
I think that’s everything that comes to mind and brings happy thoughts…
hands down
<3
What ever happened to Looney Tunes?
Emphasis on that. the older episodes were at times pretty good but the newer ones just seem to be "hey, you remember the time "___ did ___?", following up with an unfunny flashback.
However I did like some of the new ones. My favorite episode was probably "Road to Rupert" because of the tribute it made to Fred Astaire’s dance in "Anchors Aweigh".
Is Doreamon considered a cartoon too right as well as sailormoon or are they anime?
Anime is just the japanese word for "animation", so anime could nessescarily be anything from a sailor moon movie to a five-second animated commercial with an ugly frog.
I remember sailor moon. I used to watch it at 6:30 AM back when fox showed cartoons. I got up at 5:30 and watched and hour of infomercials just to see it. Then for some reason I got pissed when they replaced it with DBZ.
no mighty mouse & friends?, how about visionaries?, Duck tales?, Adventures of Tintin?, and on the superheroic side, there’s Justice League, Batman The Animated Series, Spider-man,… inserting more here 🙂
I like a lot of cartoons, but I’ve got too many to list. Though NONE on that poll are any good to me. Meh.
We don’t take kindly to bots here.
Ren & Stimpy
Family Guy Star Wars saga
Virtual dap for this.
Best cartoons I’m currently watching are Adventure Time and The Ricky Gervais Show.
