Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII[2] (ダージュ オブ ケルベロス -ファイナルファンタジーVII-, Dāju obu Keruberosu -Fainaru Fantajī Sebun-?) is a third person shooter developed and published by Square Enix, which is a sequel to the popular 1997 video game Final Fantasy VII, developed by Squaresoft (now Square Enix).

The game was released in Japan on January 26, 2006, on August 15, 2006 in North America and on November 17, 2006 in Europe and in Australasia. It is part of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII series, a multimedia collection set within the Final Fantasy VII universe.

It’s generally considered a bad game, but the music (by Masashi Hamauzu) is great.
