Rare Ranma/Tenchi Tracks

Having never had much luck finding the following tracks from the two anime series’ that I loved as a young lad, I decided to upload them myself. The link contains the following tracks:

1: Love Panic: The English version of the first Ranma 1/2 OVA intro, performed by Connie Lavigne.

2: Equal Romance: The English version of the famous Ranma ending theme, as sung by DoCo USA, which is comprised of the American voice actors for Akane, Kasumi, Nabiki, Shampoo and female Ranma. Originally part of the second OVA.

3: Us From Now On: Another English Ranma track. This is the second Ranma OVA intro. Sung by Doco USA.

4: Red Shoe Sunday: The second ending theme for the Ranma OVA series. Sung by, you guessed it, DoCo USA.

5: Ryo-Ohki’s Theme Remix: The famous first intro to Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki. This version appeared on the 5.1 DVD Japanese track. It’s slightly different than the original, mostly having a more electronic feel.

The three English OVA songs — Love Panic, Us From Now On and Red Shoe Sunday — were released on a Bonus CD that came with the OAV boxset back in the days of VHS. I don’t know what quality the ones you’ve uploaded here are, but I’ve got all three at 320kbps ripped from that CD, if you’d like me to upload them?

Where did you get the English version of Equal Romance from? Is it ripped from the DVD, or is it taken from a rare CD of some sort?

Being a non-American, I had no access to the original series until several years after it’s initial release, so these tracks are from the DVD directly. They’re not as high quality as a cd-rip, but i made sure to keep them as clean as possible.

Equal romance, like the others, is from the DVD’s too. Feel free to upload anything you have, as I’d love to hear longer versions of the songs if they exist. I put them up here mainly because I could never find them anywhere else.

They’re not actually longer, unfortunately — Viz just released the short versions on CD basically — but they are CD quality.

I’ve got quite a collection of Ranma 1/2 music. Sometime this week I’ll start a thread with my entire collection uploaded.

You wanna know what’s rare to find OP and ED songs in English? The P-Anime: Best of Best (PICD-1004A) CD. They have Pioneer anime OP and ED songs in English, which I can’t find anymore.

If you, or anyone else, can find MP3s or DDLs (Direct Downloads) of the CD, that’ll be great. Thanx in advance. 😀

You know, there is one Track from Tenchi OVA 2 which i especially like but i suppose it’s somehow rare. I download one ost after another but cant find this track.
It was BGM music played in ep11 when Zero-Ryoko tries to kill tenchi.
Anybody knows if this track was ever released?

I’d hate to burst your bubble, but if you’re talking about the Opening theme that plays in: Tenchi Muyo: Ryo-ohki!: Vol. 1: Here Comes the Bride (and it’s other two DVDs), then it has been released unto CD. The Tenchi Muyo! Ryououki – Ongaku Shu – Dai 3 Ki Series OST.

Though I’m not sure if it’s CD quality as I didn’t get it from a CD, I downloaded it years ago. But I do have good news, I have the rest the OPs EDs for El Hazard English, CD quality too. :3 Though I do realize they aren’t part of the above asked for CD. Oh, though the site I went do didn’t list who sings "Tears and Rain", the English dub singer for this is: Kazu Matsui.

And yes, track 14 is really called "Back in Love", not "Boys be Free" as so many others seem to try to call it by; this goes for the Japanese version of the song too.

As for those Ranma songs, I too would love to get CD quality versions of them, even if Viz was too lazy to make full length songs.

There is one thing about this song i found now. It’s similar to Ryoko’s Revenge track. Maybe it’s remix of this track?
