I don’t know how many people purchased the soundtrack for Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, but it was one of those enhanced CDs that came with video on it. There was only one bit of video on the disc, and it was a promotional trailer for Final Fantasy X.

The music that plays in the beginning of the trailer is actually from the game — it’s a piano piece written by Nobuo Uematsu, and is called To Zanarkand. However, the song that plays directly after To Zanarkand is a piece of music that is very familiar to me, but it’s not in any of the Final Fantasy games, and I’ve never been able to track it down.

Here is an audio clip from the trailer. (http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/30/1227484/FFXTrailer.mp3)

The music in question begins directly after the narrator says "Tidus… Yuna… joining together to confront Sin." I’ve been hunting for this bit of action music for damn near seven years now, and I just can’t find it.
