FF7 problems with Vista

Hey everyone,

I’ve tried playing through it 3 times and it crashed at the exact same place every time! This is where they talk of Cid’s past, and when Cid presses the termination button, the game crashes…

Does anyone have this problem? and is there any way of solving it?

Lol Irony, anyway Vistas going to be up to arse in problems. Vista can’t run w/o a sizable GPU (video/graphics card), and most modern GPUs don’t really support that game because it’s old, there are a bunch of ATi and nVIdia patches though so try it out.

I doubt that is the problem. PC ports of console games have always been known for being abysmally shitty.

See if you can try out other compatibility modes for running the game.

3 words. Delete Fucking Vista.

Come on. It’s 2008. We all have harddisks bigger then 120 GB, right? Just make an extra partition and install Windows 98 on it. Or even better, use Virtual PC (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/virtualpc/default.mspx)

Get a PSX emulator and download the game iso

Vista is shit. Only thing Iliked about it was the app switching interface (windows key+tab )
