Thanks for your effort, first of all.The compilation is fairly good. The compositions by Yuzo Koshiro for the Sega Genesis were always outstanding, and they will linger forever in our minds (at least for those who owned these games). I missed some classic tunes though, namely from Altered Beast and Golden Axe (‘Wilderness’ and ‘Path of Fiend’ are my favorite, although all its tunes are great on their own right). Most probably, you love those classic tunes too. I know it is a pain in the ass to rip track by track via emulators, which is the medium I believe you used to collect all of them, so I undertstand that you ran out of patience and left some stuff out. Other than that, most of the tunes you’ve chosen for this ‘Greatest Hits’ from Sega are my fav as well, and they are definitely so too for those who spent ‘a few’ hours playing these jewels back in the 90’s. By the way, there is another unknown game of Sega (Arcade, check it out on MAME) with very catchy tunes: Tough Turf. The game kind of sucks, especially at this point in time, but the music is pretty good. To cut a long story short, I appreciate the gesture; I’m gald to know that there are some fans of SEGA and SST Band out there. Anyway, if you come accross some of the official soundtracks from Sega containing music from the 80’s and 90’s I’d be thankful if you shared them as well.
Best Regards
