Playing the Streaker

So I hit up the Neoseeker board, looking at FFXII, just for shits & giggles, when I came across this. These are my words, not theirs, because I can’t remember what all they’d said.

Try this for a new challenge. Start the game over, with NO weapons, and NO armor. Just magic, and that uh, what’s it called… Bare-Fists or whatever. See how far you get. I myself haven’t tried this yet, but apparently it’s caught on over at Neoseeker. I might try it some time in the future, it depends on whether I wanna play the game again. Post your results if you want.

I’d like to see how this works. Even with the appropriate accessory and augments all set up, I could never get anywhere near reasonable damage with bare fists. I was hoping to make someone a monk of sorts. >O

Yeah I’m not sure if it’ll work out well either, but it apparently does indeed. I think maybe the kids were lying though…

Though you’ll still come in contact with "using" weapons, since NPCs can’t be de-equipped.

That sounds like fun. I can cast Haste on Basch and let him have a 300 scene. Hell, Balthier can fight too! They can both be my tanks. 😀
