Need help filling in information on a few soundtracks…

My first post here, please be gentle 🙂

Over the years, I’ve acquired a few soundtracks that I do not have song titles for and that I cannot find here at Galbadia. If anybody has tracklistings for these, they would be most appreciated:

Aggressors of Dark Kombat (Arranged?)
Aubird Force
Exile 2
Phantasy Star 4 (Arranged)

In the case of Exile 2, my set is also incomplete. If anybody could direct me to a link for the whole thing, that would be appreciated too 🙂

Exile 2: this is a game rip, so there is no tracklist.

Phantasy Star 4 arranged ? Hmm need more info on this one, is it a game rip? If it’s from an official release, i need more informations on the album.

Phantasy Star IV’s arranged album is known as Phantasy Star Collection II. You can find a tracklist for it just about anywhere that deals with game soundtracks, including Galbadia Hotel:

I believe both Phantasy Star Collections were albums that you could only receive through mail order back in the early 90s — They’re worth around $200 now. The first Phantasy Collection had the original soundtracks to the first three Phantasy Star games on one disc and a few arrangements on another. The second Phantasy Star Collection only had arranged tracks of Phantasy Star IV, which kind of sucks since Phantasy Star IV had the best music in the original series. Some of the tracks on the second Collection are medleys of songs with a common theme, like "Fight!", which contains most of the battle tunes.

Does anyone know if Fantasy Star is planning another release?

There are some Phantasy Star tracks on the two SegaRock albums.

As for a new Phantasy Star album, there is a little hope with the release of the upcoming Playstation 2 collection of the original Phantasy Star series. There’s been no mention of a limited edition, so it would probably be a Sega Direct thing.

Just an update to what I mentioned earlier: There will be a Phantasy Star soundtrack release for the first four Phantasy Star games, including the original soundtrack to the fourth one. Apparently, it will be the last soundtrack made by Sega Direct.
