Jecht Shot Mark III

For the 5th time, I failed to acquire the Jecht Shot. Is there any way to obtain it pass the point of getting it? I saved game and tried it over and over. Each time, I wasted 5 minutes, but after 30 minutes… I give up. However, the Jecht Shot Mk. III is actually a very valuable blitz asset.

i believe yo can, but you have to wait until after you control the airship. All you have to do is fly back to besaid, and take the same ship again.

You can do it more or less any time during the game after that point. Just go back on the SS Winno and press X next to the blitzball on the deck to trigger it.

Tidus has to be leveled up and you need to learn all his techs then play blitzball like 80 times and it will be a prize, thats how i got it.

That’s Jecht Shot 2 you’re referring to, and that becomes available when you unlock all three of Tidus’s key techniques. It has a given chance of being listed as a prize in the Spira League if I remember correctly. There’s also a Jecht Shot 3 apparently, but I’m not sure how you get that.

The original Jecht Shot can be got at any time by going back to the cargo ship and re-trying the task.

Of course, this thread is now a month old, so it’s likely the original poster would have found out the answer to his question. But just for the sheer hell of it since I’m such a blitzball freak, there is the full low-down.
