hello, im really wondering this because im right now downloading .iso format of FFX and im in a dorm [i can go buy a used ps2 but i cant buy a tv!! 🙁 ]

because up to IX, there is a versions for pc and you can just download that to play.

or am i basically downloading a ps2 play disc which i can burn onto a dvd to play on ps2?

You are probably asking if you can emulate PS2 on PC.

The answer is yes, you can play Final Fantasy X on PC using PCSX2, but the FPS is very low, except if you have a very powerful PC.

You can also use the ISO file to burn it on a DVD-Rom and run it on a modified PS2, or use Swap Magic and similar software.
