I think you can actually. It’s the same buttons as the PSOne. I have a computer controller that resembles a PS controller, and when I hit the buttons, it "soft resets" itself.

its R1 R2 L1 L2 Select Start all at the same time…..
If thats what you mean, it restarts the game but not the PS system.
