Teaser Video Coming 12/19/07, Noon CST
Last Saturday we had our annual company Christmas party. It was a lot of fun as usual but it featured one special surprise. It turns out that several people had been secretly working late nights and into the wee hours of the morning preparing a special video for those at the party. They created a short teaser for Duke Nukem Forever.

After seeing the teaser we thought it was something we should share with all of you and while it’s just a teaser, rest assured more is coming.

Tomorrow, Wednesday the 19th, around noon CST, we will release the first teaser trailer from Duke Nukem Forever. To tide you over until then, here is a screen shot taken from the teaser.

Didn’t one of the rules of the internets say that if this game were to be released, the world would end? Looks like you should escape to your nearest shelter. All I can say is it took enough time.

This certainly does not mean the game will be released any time soon, they’ve released full trailers years ago.

I still don’t think Duke Nukem Forever will ever actually come out. I mean come on, look at the name. Duke Nukem FOREVER, it will take FOREVER for them to release it.

I noticed the old trailers I never took a look at. It was all so new for that age. Let’s hope that this game will be something ‘fresh’. After all, we don’t want another pointless run and gun game, do we?

Oh, a lot of people don’t care about the actual game itself. It’s its status as this sort of perpetually in development vaporware thing that the developers keep insisting they will complete that makes it so hilarious. It’s managed to remain an internet joke for almost a decade. I find it completely fascinating as a phenomenon.

I can relate to that. It’s the "omigosh finally it is here"-comments on YouTube and the likes of it that I can’t seem to grasp. I find myself being completely indifferent towards the game.

LAWL, another trailer. Will it come out before I retire from living? Good grief!
I first heard about this after I bought Duke Nukem 3D years ago. They just won’t decide about what they are going to do, do they?

It’s time to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I’m all outta gum!
