Gundam Side Story 1 (ripped)

I just bought this game on ebay for my sega saturn and liked the music so i ripped it and decided to share it. Sorry i dont know the songs names…

Sega Saturn…? It’s probably one of the Blue Destiny games. I’m somewhat of an expert on that series, so if you need info, PM me and we’ll talk.

Just listened to them. Yep. It’s the Blue Destiny trilogy all right. There are three games:

機動戦士ガンダム外伝1 戦慄のブルー
Kidou Senshi Gundam Gaiden Vol. 1: Senritsu no Blue

機動戦士ガンダム外伝2 蒼を受け継ぐ者
Kidou Senshi Gundam Gaiden Vol. 2: Aoi o Uketsugu Mono

機動戦士ガンダム外伝3 裁かれし者
Kidou Senshi Gundam Gaiden Vol. 3: Sabakareshi Mono

I can also identify track 6 as "ACE PILOT". I confirmed this in my copy of Journey to Jaburo for PS2, which HAS that track as a BGM in Tactics Mode.

Since you’re the expert, could you explain what was the story? BTW, I do own Vol 2 and 3 of Gundam Gaiden, Zeta Gundam(Part 1 ?) and MS Gundam on the Saturn. I do recall the music was very nice at the time.

Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Blue Destiny told the story of a mobile suit that featured an OS capable of duplicating Newtype abilities called the EXAM System. It’s hard to explain in-depth, but if you look up Blue Destiny on Wikipedia, it’ll give a general background.

Also, the music composer is Takehiro Hasegawa.

Since you’re the expert, could you explain what was the story? BTW, I do own Vol 2 and 3 of Gundam Gaiden, Zeta Gundam(Part 1 ?) and MS Gundam on the Saturn. I do recall the music was very nice at the time.

Do you have Gundam Side Story 0079: Rise From the Ashes? If so could you rip music from this game? I also love to hear the rips from vol 2 and 3 as well.

I suggest ripping all three volumes, and then posting them. We can all then compile the three together to form one single trilogy OST.

I’m working on labeling Blue Destiny Volume 1 as we speak…Once all three rips are posted, I’ll be able to compile the COMPLETE soundtrack.

Keep in mind this took me THREE DAYS to put together, and lots of listening to the music to match tracks. I found six midi-turned-oggs, but other than that, no concrete musical evidence. Xeno, if you could play the games and locate a BGM player inside it, lemme know; there should be one
