Anyhoo, although this is my first attempt at ripping a game soundtrack, I think the tracks came out pretty well! These are all the tracks I had at the time of ripping and I’m not sure if I’m missing any. If I am, just give me a note and I’ll get around to doing it.
What’s more, I opted to rip all of the battle tracks somewhere between 4-5 minute length, so these should definitely be longer than the actual OST tracks (since almost every Musou game OST usually has 2 minute track lengths… ).
Also, unfortunately these aren’t tagged (at all) since I couldn’t find any individual track artist information.
Lastly, I do hope everyone enjoys these.

Side note:
While I was on a roll, I got annoyed and ripped the three tracks from Sengoku Musou Moushouden/Samurai Warriors Xtreme Legends that were not on any OST as far as I know ("Struggle," "Komaki-Nagakute," and "Theme of Tadakatsu"). If any Musou fans are interested in these tracks, feel free to ask for those too.
Hm. i think you might have missed a couple.
Hm. i think you might have missed a couple.
I might have. I’ll have to play through Amuro and Kamille’s Original Modes later to check to see if I’m missing anything. All Official Mode tracks should be in, I know that much.
There’s actually a space theme missing from Official Mode. Listen through them again.

This link should be semi-permanent and probably faster than Megaupload.
DW: Gundam was released in the U.S. at the end of the August. As far as I know, it was also just released in the U.K.
I apologize for this mishap.
I apologize for this mishap.
Cool. Maybe that’s the one missing. 🙂
I hate to be a bother, but would it at all be possible to know what each track stands for? I’m grateful that they are named, but would it be too much to ask which tracks are for stages, bosses, selects, events, ect…?
Theme of Gundam Musou: Opening
Sign: Main Menu / Character Selection
Place for One More: Story Dialogue / Pre-Battle Menu
The Ace Pilot’s History: Post-Battle Wrap up
Each Heroes: Ending theme
Dead End: Theme of Musha Gundam
Soldier in Metal: Stage Music, usually used in Satellite Elevator
The Frozen Breath: Stage Music, usually used in Ice Fields
Other Side of Planet: Stage Music, usually used in Mausoleum
The others are either self-explanatory or various stage musics. The music has a tendency to change during each stage.
Do you happen to know exactly who scored the music in this game as far as composers go?
There are six composers in total, it seems. Of the ones I noticed as the credits rolled, MASA ( who worked on most of the Musou series soundtracks ) was present. I wasn’t able to catch the other five, though.
And personally, I wouldn’t mind hearing those Samurai Warrors: Extreme Legends tracks you mentioned – especially the Komaki-Nagakute track. I played that level so much the music grew on me. 🙂
What order would you put the tracks in as if you were doing it for a CD release?

I know Haruhi Yamada is one of the composers because MASA mentioned him in the Shin Sangokumuou 5 OST.

I seem to recall hearing somewhere that several tracks were taken out of the english release for… some reason. While I can’t find a reference for that, it seems to hold out when you compare the track numbers…
OIC, I have my PS3 Japanese Gundam Musou for a really long time but I dunno how to rip them out. = =||
You can find them in KOEI warriors site.
Right now, they’re just random.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Oh, sorry about that SuperPhil.
If we go by game order:
Sign
Place for One More
Anhillated the Enemy
Speed and Tension
Heat to be Filled With
Calling to the Wind
The Frozen Breath
The Other Side of Planet
Soldier in Metal
Pulse of the Tension
Battle of Soul
Dead End
The Ace Pilot’s History
Player Win
Player Defeat
Player Death
Theme of Dynasty Warriors: Gundam
Each Heroes
Walk Through the Fire
Breakthrough In Your Fate
All For one
Of course, if I were to make an actual order of my own, I’d put Theme first and "Each Heroes" last. The rest seems fairly okay in that order.
Thanks a lot. It was weird having them only in A-Z order on iTunes.
Hope you scold the bastard who gave your rip elsewhere!
The faithful servant Jiang Wei takes leave.
In my opinion, these are the best tracks: Soldier in Metal, Pulse of the Tension, the Theme fron Dynasty Warriors Gundam, and the best song for me: Annnihilated The Enemy.
I love the moment when Amuro saves Char of the enemies in Mausoleum and this great song starts.
Your faithful servant Jiang Wei takes leave.
You do not have to thank, I did not do anything in order that you were giving them.^^
And makes me happy that you liked this song, and listen allof the other songs, can that some you like it.^^
Your faithful servant Jiang Wei.
The Special Version of Gundam Musou (PS2) has them though.
To whoever did that, and I’m pretty sure I know who it was: colossal dick move.
Pretty sure that’s against this forum’s rules as well, but as I said, I’m attempting to sort this out with the admins of KW. I’m not even really angry over it, but that’s just rude.
Luckily someone reported this to me. I have to say sorry to let you down and even have a thought that we’re rude. We received the zip file as a submission from some of our site visitors in our email account. And we thought it’s okay to use since they said they downloaded it from the public, we didn’t know the original source was from here until someone told me that you’re so pissed about it just now over the MSN.
You should just let us know tho, but yeah we’ve completely removed your ripped BGMs from our forum download section now and I apologize here so that you wouldn’t think we’re rude and offended your ripping, it’s all misunderstanding anyways.
We will try to get some of our members to rip the music from the game Gundam Musou and Gundam Musou Special but really no worries, because we’ve vanished your OST files from the Megaupload also our forum (we never published the MP3 on the site so it’s nothing there). Please do not worry because we’re not going to use yours, sorry to offend you in previous.
Thanks for the sharing anyways, have a nice day.
Everyon else: As I also mentioned to Chin in that PM, my PS2 HATES the Gundam Musou Special disc. For whatever reason, it skips like a DJ is scratching it to hell and back some times. As a result, yeah, I’m pretty much incapable of doing a decent quailty clean rip of the Japanese only tracks found within, so I’ll have to leave it to someone else.
She’s able to do that 😛
Think you could do the same for Ninja Gaiden II (Xbox360)? *wink wink* 😀

Unfortunately, no I cannot. Primarily due to the fact that I do not *own* NGII yet.
On a side note, since Chin sorted out the KW issue, I will be removing my original links from the first post and allowing Koei Warriors to host the primary download for this soundtrack; it saves me file space!
I’ll probably get around to that, I dunno, some time in the near future. I am lazy after all.
I wish it would be a ReMix.
Anyway … THX 4 tha GameRip, this OST is awsum!
