Final Fantasy VI Piano arrangements

About a week ago I decided that I wanted to make my own arrangements of Final Fantasy VI songs since it is probably my favorite game of all time (although Chrono Trigger, the Shadow Hearts series, and SMT are right up there as well). Anyways, I’ve been looking for a place to post these and this forum looks like a good place seeing as how it’s dedicated to Final Fantasy.

This first one is Awakening, which plays in the beginning when Terra wakes up in Narshe. It’s a little faster in places then it should be but I’ll eventually rerecord it when I’ve actually had time to practice it.

This next one is Cyan, which I’ll admit doesn’t sound incredibly like the original. I kind of ran with some of the runs and did some weird stuff in the bass line but overall I like it.

But let me know what you guys think. I plan on eventually arranging every song from the game, but if you have requests I’d love to do them first.

Very nice! The only thing I have to say is that I feel Awakening could be a bit slower. The arrangement is good, but I kinda feel it gets lost because it’s played so fast. Keep up the good work! Really liked them both!
