Ok, I have a friend who is handicapped, and can only use one hand, because he had a brain hemorage. He was asking me about the DS games, thinking maybe he could use the stylus to play some of them. So what I wanna know is, is the Zelda:Phantom Hourglass playable using the DS’s stylus? He uses his left hand and upper lip to play the Zelda series on the SNES, Nintendo, and Game Cube. He can play the Final Fantasys by just using his left hand. Pretty neat huh? So yeah, my question is written above. Thanks all who answer without making fun of him like a stupid cuntrag.

The answer is yes. Phantom Hourglass was designed to make use of the stylus only.

Phantom Hourglass lets you switch the position of the hud based on handedness. Several others allow this as well. Final Fantasy III comes to mind.

I personally didn’t like the stuff in magic cars dancing with monkeys but I got used to it.

Without trying to turn it into a list of "Stylus Only games" (Since that wasn’t asked.) You could always checkout Contact too. I really enjoyed the game. And although I used dpad and buttons it can be done just the stylus. I started playing with the stylus but then my gf was being mean and stole it. Then I just got used to buttons.

Dude, your DS should’ve came with 2 styluses, or so I have read.

Well you can sometimes use the buttons for stuff, but most of it’s usable with the stylus. The games almost 100% stylus anyways, so. Only thing I can think of is that you might have to use the the down button for the map… I don;t remember really, but I am sure it is possible to do that with just the stylus too.

Yeah, you can use the stylus to bring the map down. There are little buttons at the top of the screen you can dot with the styli.

the stylus is cool, but most of the time i prefer not to use it…does this make me an asshole, folks?

I don’t use it for Pokemon, except to make poffins, tbh.

That is in my DS but I am not playing it. It keeps the dust out while I play LeafGreen.

…if a ds game is in your ds that you dont play…but you use your ds to play a gba game…why not stick with or get a gba?

alsodoodles…the wireless connector thingy with the pokemon games on the gba…can you still do all of that on the ds (with gba games?)

may sound dumb…but there’s a small chance that in that instance…i may be on to something

The DS has a GBA slot at the bottom of it. If there is nothing in the slot for DS games (at the top) I would imagine that it could collect dust.

I had a GBA, but I sold it when I got my DS. The DS is backwards compatible, why would I keep my GBA? Okay, yeah the GBA games stick out when they’re in the DS, but everything can’t be perfect.

I’m pretty sure you can’t use the wireless adapter for GBA on a DS. You can just import your pokes from FR/LG and R/S/E by dual slotting and then trade them over WiFi.

EDIT: Besides, the DS has wireless connectivity already. I don’t know if GBA games can take advantage of that, though. THERE IS THE REAL QUESTION TO BE ASKED :smrt:
