the cake is a lie

I finally picked up the Half-Life 2 Orange Box off Steam.

As soon as the massive download finished, I started the one game i’ve been waiting since E3 last year (or was it the year before?) to play – Portal.

Needless to say, I wasn’t disappointed.

If you own a computer, like computer games, and have a spare $20 lying around, buy this right now. You don’t need the Orange Box. Portal is the only game you need to play. It is simply genius.

So, has anyone else delved into the Aperture Science Enrichment Centre yet?

Also: I am hoping for Portal Deathmatch more than anything at the moment.

I snagged my boyfriend’s computer and played almost the whole way through Portal, but I never finished it because he’s too busy playing TF2 all the damn time.

also, yeah, loving it. TF2, Portal as well as HL2 ep2, although it’s fps murder with my 7900GT @ 1820 x 1200. :/

Portal looks like genius, I may download it if I ever want to check it out, but for now it’s CS:S and HL2 DM for me.

My brother was telling me how his friend got the game recently, he says it has a sort of sick and twisted type of humor to it and is really fun.

That game is really fun also chewey. but I think I am stuck on stage 23, I can’t move this block at all. It’s in an unmovable spot.
Oh wait, never mind. I didn’t know how to pick up the block is all. Figured it out.

haha yeah, definitely true. It kinda took me by surprise cause I never thought Valve would be able to generate such kind of humor.
