Thanks for the file, but this only has the music from the main game and not the expansion, Brood War:(

This is technically Brood War also but it contains only 2 random music/sound files from Brood War and Starcraft plus the normal music. Most of the same music was used from the original Starcraft CD for Brood War.

Though, this download is crap. It excludes a lot, plus who ever encoded the files thought it was a great idea to go from 706kbits @ 22Khz wav to 128Kbits @ 44Khz mp3 which makes it sound slightly worse. The two random files are the 1) BWIntro mp3 and 2) Mengks Speech from SC.

Blizzard at one point had the BWIntro mp3 on their public FTP but that is gone now for some reason but you can find that song and Blizzard’s 12DaysOfXmas song here (http://www.creepcolony.com/music.shtml) (along with other [non blizzard] music).

If anyone wants, I can email the audio of each Brood War ending video plus the BW Intro movie. I don’t have my Starcraft CD with me now but I can also give anyone the audio to the intro and endings if they are willing to wait. Just drop me a private message. Request either uncompressed original wav or Ogg encoded (~500Kbits (Highest) Quality but for the original format of the wav files from the game, it usually never surpasses 300 during actual encoding but it still sounds exactly the same – still at 22Khz).
