Sonic the Hedgehog Megamix Gamerip

SOUNDTRACK UPDATED 10/20/07!!! UPLOADING THE UPDATED SOUNDTRACK!!!

Megamix is a hacked version of Sonic 1 that is only playable on Genesis emulators. It features new zones, new music for the zones, and other improvements. Some songs can be found on other Sonic games, and other non-Sonic games. Also, Shadow the Hedgehog and Mighty the Armadillo are selectable characters in addition to Sonic. A future update will include Miles "Tails" Prower.

QUICK NOTE: The rip is not complete yet, as there are more songs in the Sound Test. I will try to rip those as soon as possible.

How much of that music is comprised of original compositions? Aside from all of the recycled SEGA tunes and the Michael Jackson songs.

Metallic Base and a few other tracks, probably.

Also, the one you have set as Mighty’s ending is the Continue screen

Good news, everyone. I’ve started the rip of the final version again.

Now a quick word about the OST. I’ve decided not to re-rip that which was already on the original 3.0 version. I also noticed that all those tracks were encoded in 192 kbps. To accommodate for my broken promise of re-ripping the old tracks, I will be re-encoding them in 320 kbps. This way you can get all the quality with none of the fuss.

I have only a few more tracks to rip, then ID tags, then sorting, and finally uploading it. Now that Mediafire is stable enough to host for me I’ll host the new rip on my Mediafire account.

I didn’t know their were still doing new versions of the sonic megamix last one i got was the one that has 2 michael jackson moonwalker songs on it and that sonic megamix gamerip i downloaded was back in 2009

They are not. Some of these songs were just never included.

They were working on a new update. You can look on youtube for the new version of Starry Night Zone with it’s new music track specifically made for the game.
