Sonic games were kinda boring, but hes a cool character. It will be interesting to have him in this game. It was kinda obvious that this would happen eventually. Since Sega caved into Nintendo.

I am actually more upset about Solid Snake. I mean he is one of my favorite characters in video games and Nintendo is making a mockery; Kojima is making a profit.
It doesn’t sit right with me.

Sonic is the best I hope they rise from the grave and kill Sony and make the Sega Dreamstation 32.

I like the fact that he is brawl.

The fact that 3/4 of his B moves are "spin dash" does not sit well with me.

i dunno. It certainly works and will create a very interesting playstyle but I prefer characters who have a little more variety to their moves, but then again I only use about 2 b moves on most characters anyways so I guess it won’t matter much?

Sonic has a lot to do TK you are just biased against the coolest hedgehog on the planet because he is way past cool, which means he is so much cooler than Mario and his other friends that are from Nintendo. There is little doubt that he is totally awesome and should be the best character ever. Mario wishes he had people like Tails and Knuckles and Amy Rose and Cream the Rabbit and Sally and Bunny and Rotor and Antoine and many more to be his good friend and Mario would be dead by now if he had to face off against Doctor Robotnik because he would catch that fat plumber and kill him with all his machines and that freaking giant Death Egg I mean man Mario is clearly no match for the world’s most way past cool hedgehog.

Also, TK, a lot of the characters have movesets that aren’t really representative of the game they are from. I’m pretty sure characters like Captain Falcon didn’t have Falcon Punch and Falcon Kick and those moves from the game they originated from. Mario also didn’t have that Mario Tornado before entering the Smash World.

And if they didn’t want to add moves there is much more that they could have added.

In Sonic CD, Sonic had a Figure-8 that would power up his speed and make him go way, way fast. They could have incorporated that as an attack and use it as something like Falco/Fox Left/Right B attack or maybe something else.

Sonic could also have used a move similar to the Link’s bombs or Peach’s vegetable and get rings or those item boxes that are in all the Sonic games. It is something they could have done if they really wanted to.

Sonic could also use either the Bubble shield, Fire shield or Electric shield attacks that were introduced in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 if they really wanted to. The fire one would probably be the best choice and would make a good right/left b type attack.

They could have also given Sonic the down B that is given to characters like Fox/Falco/Marth/Roy etc. and have it be either just his grey shield that was in every Sonic game (at least on the Genesis) or either some type of light from the Chaos Emeralds or the power rings.

There’s probably more but I’m too lazy to think about them and I really haven’t played anything past Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles. Though, I think homing as a neutral B attack is perfectly fine since that seems to be his main mode of attack in the 3-D Sonic games.

I guess the more characters they have in brawl the better but I can tell you right now that I probably will only play as him once or twice.

But maybe now all the people obsessing over the thought of having Sonic in brawl might quiet down a little and stop saying he should be in it.
