I’m gonna check this out. I still own the Sega-CD version of Mail and loved that soundtrack. Let’s see how this one fares! Thanks! 😀

On some songs, I prefer the Sega CD version, but this is good stuff.

Yeah. I just got done listening to it. A lot is the same as the Sega-CD version, but as you said, I also prefer the Sega’s version. 🙂

Still, I thank you again for posting it. Now…if I could only find the SCD version… 😉

I’d rip the Sega CD version, but, most of the music is a combination of pcm/psg & adpcm, with only 2 or 3 redbook audio tracks. And I’ve never seen a place that has a GYM or VGM file of the music, so, I have no way to rip it. BTW, there are 2 songs near the end I wasn’t able to identify, because I was playing the game on an emulator, & the game got stuck, so, I have no idea what those 2 songs are for. Do you know what place in the game they would be??

I don’t recognize them from the Sega version at all, and since I never played the Turbo version, I couldn’t tell you. Sorry. Wish I knew. 🙂

It seems like there’s area’s in this game, that aren’t in the Sega CD one. So, those might be some area’s that were left out possibly.

Track 24 is called Iceberg Battle. I know this because I recognize it from one of the Falcom Special Box remixes of the Popful Mail soundtrack. I don’t know the other one I’m afraid.

Hmm, then that’s probably a song used in the Ice area I would guess. My game stopped right before the ice area, so, I had to guess which songs went where from that point on. Well, thanks for the heads up on that!

Found the full track list for the game:

That’s cool, though, what would help, is if Chudah had links to samples of each song, so I knew for sure I was labeling each song correctly.

Well, this page has a couple of samples:

That’s about the closest you’ll get.

Well, I found a way to transfer my save to a different emulator, so I might be able to pass the part where it got stuck. My actual save was a little ways before where it got stuck, so later tonight I’ll play thru that part again. But thanks for your help! I appreciate it!
