Lost in FFV

So I’ve never played any final fantasy games…watched them be played and I’ve run around and leveled characters for my bf…and I’ve always really enjoyed it. But now I"m lost. According to all the walk thru’s I’ve looked at I’m supposed to be going to the town of Gohn or Gone. This is after I’ve gotten my flying ship, but I can’t find this town. can anyone help give me and my flying ship directions?

I know this sounds pathetic, but I’m 21 and this is the first gaming system and game I’ve ever had…and I"m frustrated because I’ve been stuck here for two weeks.

So you are 21 and never owned a videogame before? If I were you I would be fascinated! 😉

I have been playing FF5 for a while, maybe the town you refer to is Ronka Ruins, check or remember always the dialogues with people, to get to Gohn you must cross the desert, you cannot go by the air because of the mountains.
I have the GBA version, so maybe you have a version from SNES, translations change for each console.

Ronka Ruins is correct. The official translations on the English version of FFVA is majorly different from the SNES FFV translation (which is a fan-translation job). From the map, it looks that Ronka is where Gorn is. In fact, a lot of names in the map are different from the FFVA counterparts.
